  1. It's a decent show and I enjoyed it, but I'm torn over whether or not to actually watch it live week-to-week. I came in at the end of PLL's third season, and while I love it I probably wouldn't if I had watched THAT week-to-week as opposed to getting 71 episodes at once. We'll see.

  2. There were one or two times during the first half hour that I was tempted to change the channel, but I stuck it out, and actually am intrigued with the show. It's a little be like the old show "The O.C."--the bad boy with troubled pass coming back to town, everyone against him. But, one of the aspects that sets "Twisted" apart is the childhood friendship between a boy and two girls. They were too young for anything sexual, so it's purely about the "innocence" of youth, and (maybe?) how it becomes corrupted by their environment. Which leads to the "different paths" of the two girls, who grew up in town, while the boy survived (apparently very well) his incarceration. The over-arching "mystery" of did he kill his aunt, and why, is actually not too interesting at this point. I've got my favorite suspects for the murder--obviously someone close to the boy--but it hardly matters. The exploration of "why" each of the three children chose the path they did in growing from childhood to teenager (and the effect of their choices) is the real "hook" of this show. Finally, I'd be remiss if I didn't address the 900 pound gorilla in this Pilot episode: Denise Richards looks way too thin--frighteningly so. Thank God, there are more recent photos of her in the press, where she appears to have regained some weight. I can't wait for the more recent episodes to air, where hopefully she looks better. Right now, she's painful to watch.

  3. Good. Decent acting, decent writing and hopefully a decent mystery.

It's a good start to a promising show. I hope they ramp up the mystery part sooner rather than late though. It's about time ABC Family had another drama with a male lead (that hasn't happened since what Kyle XY?).

  5. I really like the guy playing Danny...and I liked Danny, for that matter. I've liked the young lady paying Jo since The Finder. I have to give it a few episodes to see whether the story is going to really grab me or not. I like the characters enough to stick around fo ra while.
