I actually thought it lacked luster, I've seen better season premieres. The whole pig in the trunk was bulls*** - it would have been better if Wilden was in there. I just didn't find the premiere anything special or unique, kind of dragged on and on.
The thing with A filming and knowing absolutley everything is getting a bit old and boring, I don't think she should stop doing it but they should rely on some other thing for the twists and turns, stop acting like OMG everytime there's new footage on them, that's old news.
I actually liked the pig in the trunk... On afterthought. Bad cliffhanger for a season ender/premiere? Maybe. But at the same time it was great because it was a dead pig and then what shows up a couple minutes later but another dead "pig" haha I loved that. Also loving the Mona and Liars having to work together.
I feel like the new A is obsessed with Ali, the way she/he touched the mask at the end made it seem like they loved the way they looked so I doubt it's Melissa. Also the A in season 2 Halloween episode who was "torturing" Ali - was that deffo Mona?
...am I the only one that noticed the similarities between the pilot episode and this episode? The funeral scenes and the door being left open when Mona went for a coffee run. It felt like deja vu for me... but not in a bad way
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Way better than last seasons premiere in my opinion.
ReplyDeletenothing, cuz i didnt see it. skipped my mind that it was airing today. now what does that say about this show..

ReplyDeleteSafe to say my choice to stop watching was a good one.. a pig in the trunk? Damn the writers are assholes.

Mrs D! Woot woot!
ReplyDeleteReally? So they (writers) just clean up Mona and make her one of them? Despite everything she's done? Common!
ReplyDeleteThere is this one thing called common sense and they obviously lacking it

ReplyDeleteYes and the third season premiere as well. I love throwbacks to the pilot.
