  1. "Up Yours Pro Clone!"

It was AWESOME! I will miss it dearly, but glad we don;t have to wait long for Blu-Ray and DVD!!

  2. I don't think Mrs. S is evil. She had the opportunity to steal that project photo and she didn't. I think once Sarah went off to meet her mother at the apartment, she took Kira and got out of Dodge.

  3. I hope you are right. But I think Mrs. S might have worked for them in the past, then grew a pair, stole Sarah and left.

  4. Season 2 should be out in the Spring of 2014 with 10 new episodes. I kinda wish they had longer seasons -- but the good thing about short seasons is that they lack filler episodes.

  5. I am kinda confused as to what a pro clone is.... I was greatly surprised by the episode - like Helena dying and Alison just watching her neighbor die. I thought that the encrypted message in the DNA was a great way to go, like it made sense for it to be there -- but I wasn't expecting it before the episode. My one complaint was Art really didn't make any progress, but the episode was already (a good) busy, adding it in might have taken away from the episode. All in all, I thought it was what a finale should be.

  6. This episode got better and better with every new scene.. WOW!
    Just a few things:
    - Alison is soooo screwed!! =)
    - Helena dead (lets not go there with could still be alive, that would be so lame). I'm going to miss her, but she was righteously offed so. No way she could join the team or just kept out in the world to keep killing. (Btw, saw right away through Helena disguised as Sarah ^_^)
    - Ms. S is not Sarah's monitor,I think the photo suggest she was once part of it, but is now protecting them. Like someone else suggested: She probably took Kira to keep her safe.
    - The barcode in the DNA was really cool and it was really shocking to see Casima's reaction.
    - Art is getting really close, best thing for Team Sarah is to join forces with Art (and maybe that partner) next season.
    - Didn't really like the new clone,, it's probably because of the blond hair :P

  7. I think ProClone is meant as some kind of statement, like: 'fuck you! we have rights too!' (same as in pro-gay, pro-abortion etc.)
Gotta agree without you about Art's role btw, there wasn't really any place for that in this episode.

  8. No that clone was raised by the neolution people and when they were Felix's apartment they called get a Pro Clone. Like they were making her the best they could, she is a product of them through and through.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I agree with you. I think Mrs. S got Kira out of the house to protect her... I think she barely beat the people who came to grab her.

  10. I thought it was a really good. I was completely caught off guard by Allison watching her neighbor die. I was thinking that Rachel (do I have that right....the Sarah that worked at the company) was the source of the DNA. Did anyone else get that impression or do you guys think she's also a clone?

    ReplyDelete
  11. I wonder who Rachel called on the phone (I think it's either Mrs S, Paul or Felix)...and what the birth mother meant by Mrs S isn't who she seems... I don't think Mrs S is working for Neolution, but I do think she was involved in the past. I mean if Mrs S took Kira to Neolution, why would she trash the place? Unless she knew Sarah was going to look there, and if the place was trashed, suspicion to who grabbed Kira would fall elsewhere? I dunno...

Where did Felix go after Delphine crashed his place and stayed with Cosima? I hope he's not a monitor, but on this show, you never know...

Hopefully Art and his partner learn of everything early on in the season, then stay on with the clones and become their eyes and ears on the force.

  12. She seemed a little older than the others, so yeah. My belief is that she's the original.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Seems like they might be making a statements -- looks like all the evil clones are blonds. :)

  14. Tatiana Maslany is outstanding especially as Sarah who completely destroyed me during her scene with Art, during her scene with Helena at the end and then when she realises Kira is gone. Damn.

I knew Mrs S wasn't completely right, I think she may have been a scientist who worked on the project. Also kind of knew Donnie was Alison's monitor, poor Alison she thinks everything is going to be ok. I wonder though if killing tendencies is a flaw in the clone programme like it was with Helena? It isn't just how they were brought up....

Happy Cosima reunited with Delphine, someone needs a good relationship in this show.

Going to miss Helena she was crazy and Sarah was right to kill her but man did I love their scenes together.

New clone Rachel is so cold, I love it. Nice to have a different kind of clone in the mix.

I actually like Art's ongoing investigation, I do think he will eventually help Sarah and co even if its completely off the books.

  15. It's a term Felix made up about Rachel, referring to her being "pro" them being clones.

    ReplyDelete
  16. There should be a "HOLY MOTHER OF SHITE, that was amazing!" option.

Going to miss this show so much :\

  17. personally I think it was retarded. Such a poor ending to season final. The writers either suck or think the audience is retarded and will eat anything.
Who cares about patents or what was programmed in their code in the very beginning decades ago? Human cloning is illegal so now its null and void. If you sign papers where you oblige to suck someone's genitals three times a day your signature doesn't make them any more legal.
and up yours, proclone... really? Are we supposed to believe that four smart people retardedly misinterpret piece of information and then two of them make a retarded follow up decision which leads to immediate kidnapping of Kira? come on

    ReplyDelete
  18. We are all entitled to our opinion, but IMO I think one point (for Leaky and the viewers) is to see "how" they react to each other and when new information is confirmed.

We know Delphine had lied about Kira, so is she really helping Cosima? -Are we sure that Leaky didn't want her to crack the code and find the official patent?

There DNA matters, because as they discovered before and now Cosima knows, they may be susceptible to a certain sickness. It's natural to want to understand where one comes from and if there are any genetic factors to consider, but Obviously Cosima and Sarah are willing to that on their own conditions...

Personally I think Mrs. S is play on words for "Missing Link" and I could see her being a DNA contributor, especially after what we saw in this episode. I don't know if I believe it is Leaky that abducted her and Kira, but I suspect that there could be another party involved. I think either Mrs. S changed her mind about what she was doing or she is Sarah's and/or Kira's monitor. Unless the photo was fabricated.

I don't think the characters are retarded, as much as unprepared. Sarah just went through something incredibly traumatic yet again, having to kill Helena, who's just sadly so messed up and over manipulated, but the Religious people she worked for might prove yet another deadly force, considering she's been made into a lethal assassin. (and they're clearly anti-clone -so the pro clone commit is kind of curious when you think about Helena's situation in terms of where Sarah says she currently stands).

I thought the finale was fun and suspenseful and answered some questions while giving us more.

Rachel is just so cold and corporate. She doesn't act like a human at all and I think that should scare us. Sarah, Helena, and Rachel are also Biblical names, so I suspect more from Rachel next season, now that Helena is gone.

  19. This was mind blowing. So freaking awesome. I did not see any of the twists coming, except for Mrs. S taking Kira at the end. God, it was phenomenal really. I am glad they killed off the Helena bitch though, she was getting on my nerves. Does anyone know when it comes back? Mind blowing show, I am trying to get everyone I know to watch this

    ReplyDelete
  20. I suspect something along these lines as well

    ReplyDelete
  21. "I wonder though if killing tendencies is a flaw in the clone programm..."

Interesting idea, but also could be perceived as a survival "skill" (although clearly can go wrong). I agree that Helena's mental state and then this sickness could prove apart of whom they are. Especially since we also don't know why Beth killed herself and yet left information (bag) behind...

    ReplyDelete
  22. I feel bad for Helena, because really no one did right by her, not even Sarah. Obviously she just became too dangerous, but if Kira's scene with her was any consolation (and the little boy from earlier in season), then we see Helena needed love and, to some degree, she valued children and perceived them innocent, something she never really had, but desperately wanted/needed.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Yes. Happily, I know, but it's still too long XD, but at least I don't have to wait that long for the DVD. So many other cable shows tend to release the previous season out right before the next season. :)

  24. I think we're being led to believe that someone broke in, ransacked the house and stole Kira out her bedroom window. Neither Mrs. S nor Felix would need to abduct Kira, she'd probably go with them without question. And wasn't Paul with Sarah when Rachel made the call? I think that whoever ransacked the house, we haven't met them yet.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I think this is a good possibility, as I think she is a DNA or egg contributor...I also think Felix is going to turn out to be Sarah's half brother (Mrs. S actual son).

    ReplyDelete
  26. When the birth mother said Mrs S isnt who she says she is and then gave Sarah a picture of her "real" foster mother I thought that Mrs S was involved with the doctor/foster mother somehow. A woman who worked in the foster system and a doctor who may have been involved with the cloning is just a little bit too much of a coincidence.

  27. I thought the beginning was a bit slow but it definitely picked up to a point I was 0_________0 and the ending? Hoooly crap!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I was thinking that he was her son too! They look alike.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I hope season 2 is coming soon! It was awesome Cosima finding out they are Patented. If they sign the agreement they were property. I loved how Allison pick the right guy first as her monitor.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Pro as in Proto clone as in Rachel

    ReplyDelete
  31. I think that the actor who plays Felix said in an interview we will be learning more about his background. Felix was another child who Mrs. S had to hide away.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Until Cosima decode's Sarah's sequence they will not know if she is property or not. I personally think since she was viable to give birth to a child she is the original As was Helena. Mrs S. possibly knew who was the original then grabs her who became Sarah. I think she is repeating with Kera

    ReplyDelete
  33. It was ok. Garbage disposals don't do that.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Hmm, to me 'cold and distant' seemed like requirements to being able to consider parts of yourself nothing more than things you own.

Love the Missing Link pun (is that a pun?)

    ReplyDelete
  35. It could surely be interpreted that way too. In another post I said I think Rachel may be extremely introverted, so not showing herself and being darkly organised may turn out to be an asset and not truthfully whom she is.

Ya, puns are 'plays on words'. If you turn the "S" a quarter having is then on it's side it looks like a basic image for a 'link'. (it looks like have a chain, or even bunji chord sometimes have s-shaped links on the ends of them. Links are synonymous for like DNA connections). So and Misses S and Missing Link also start with "miss" and then are both 3 sylobols.

  36. I just finished watching the entire season over 3 days and I have to say that I LOVE this show. The lead actress is absolutely amazing.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Because Rachel is on Leekie's side and approves of Leekie's actions, including then making clones and patenting them...On top of it though, Rachel comes off as incredibly "cold" and controlled...So, because we don't know Rachel's back story, in Sarah's mind, if Rachel is what happens to clones that submit to Leaky, then Sarah wants no part, because there is no real sense of individualism coming from Rachel.

    ReplyDelete
  38. OMG that Alison scene was incredible!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Rachel being the original? Hmm, I didn't get the impression that Rachel was older.

I don't think she is the original and now after thinking about it for a moment, I don't think it really matters who is the original at all. Specially after everyone thought Sarah was the original and it turned out to be not true. I mean, it would be a nice origin fact, but I don't think they should make it a point of the series: like the original leading them all into freedom (or hell ;)

  40. I kind of think now that Helena's former handler knows about Kira, that his anti-science-religious group is who infiltrated an abducted them.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I don't know?! It could be, but Rachel is SO cold and distant that I hope not. I got the impression that Rachel is what happens if one submits to Leekie, as Helena is what happens when one submits (or is forced) to the anti-science-Religious group. I think the blonde hair and personal aesthetic (sophisticated verses grunge) completely opposite to each other's (Rachel/Helena) is no coincidence, meaning either she is equally as bad, or she is very good. (But I'm inclined to think bad, but extremely introverted and machine like)

Their names along with Sarah's are Biblical Names. (Olivier Duval's surname is similar to "devil" and he had a tail) And Paul is Biblical name as well. At any rate Rachel seems to be set up to important to next season. I'm looking forward to see how she fits in and if the little message Sarah sent her actually bother's her or not.

I Think Mrs S was a DNA participant and may be as close to Original as we can get (Mrs. S may be a pun for "missing link")

PS: It would be a cool twist if Rachel was spy for someone else!

  42. When they were implanted it immaterial. It is who was the original embryo which matters.

True, but I doubt they're going to make it that complicated.
