The usual: I LOVED IT. Carlos FINALLY knows the truth and that makes me so happy and so relieved. Kiera really needed someone to rely on who would know the entire truth. Alec is just a kid and he isn't there for her all the time, he has his own life to live. I'm really excited to see where it goes now.
And this Usher guy, doing things different to the original timeline - did he come back too, is he operating on knowledge from the future or is he in the pocket of one of the two Liber8 factions?
I really loved this episode, so glad Carlos knows but I wish I had gotten to see a bit more of their conversation. I cant wait to see where the rest of the season goes. I'm intrigued by Emily and Esher (sp?) and what they are up too. Poor Alec. I also want to see if Betty knows the whole truth or just wants to be a part of the Liber8 cause.
esher has a whole different agenda than liber8,if not he had no motive in backing up kiera's story from the start..his motive's will slowly be revealed as we move along
And Emily being a mole ...alec get ready to get your heart broken
I think these small things will change alec into person he's going to become...
And this show continues to be THE BESt scifi show currently on air(if we do not count Orphan Black).
Holy Hell, this was a brilliant episode.
Although sadly this is most likely a death flag for Carlos - finding out the truth this early and BELIEVING it, never ends well for his kind of character.
I'm so glad that Carlos finally got the big reveal, although I figure that Kira could have easily proved it to Carlos earlier by just demonstrating her suit/devices to him in the office. Glad that she doesn't have to keep up the charade to her partner as he will be key in protecting her from the myriad of enemies that aren't just liber8. I like the new wildcard of Mr Escher, and delving more into the plot of the other time travelers/ who most likely weren't there for the prison outbreak... Very good episode
So far season 2 is shaping up to top the first. I love the style in which it's written - whereby a seemingly insignificant character will end up becoming something more complicated a couple of episodes down the line!
I like how the producers have shown a big change in the timeline Kiera came from with regards to the case of the week. It's been speculated whether she is just going through the motions of a continuous time-loop/living in an alternate reality/changing her own timeline with her actions and as of this weeks episode I'm really at a loss to decide which is the case.
Am I right in thinking that there have been suggestions that this has all happened before? I'm pretty sure Kagame mentioned that older Alec had told him of the conversation they had at the Liber8 house last season. This would suggest a time-loop but not explain the changes to this weeks murder case.
Maybe older Alec provided Kiera with false information regarding the case in order to get her to preserve the timeline? ARGHHH my brain is fried.
Good: Carlos knows. Carlos didn't save Kiera. We met Escher but he remained as mysterious. Possible timeline change. Nichols' acting. Bad: Kiera not calling for backup and pursuing a suspect alone. Emily being a mole cliche.
why does it sound like you something we don't lol but I agree the harmless kid from season is slowly becoming that guy from the future, poor Alec though I knew Emily was sketchy from the very beginning and once she asked to see his lab I knew it for sure
I can't wait to see the next episode and aftermath of Keira spilling the beans, I also want Keira to meet Emily I hope she can spot that the girl is up to noo good
I thought it was stupid at first, but the way they used the tech at the end made it make sense. Maybe she just wasn't quite ready to open up to him all the way (literally, if she was going to show him the suit :) in the office. She had to pushed to the far edge, nothing more to lose, and he had to be ready to really see the truth.
Ooh. Maybe that explains why CPS!Kiera is sporting Star Trek Hairdos this season? And not just the production doing the usual S2-glam-up-the-pretty-girl thing.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteSo the girl who is with alec is deff either liber 8 or from the future she dint even know who the kardashian's are
ReplyDeleteI think she was making a joke, one which appealed to Alec's sense of humour hence his "I'm just going to upload this moment to my harddrive."
