Defiance, Warehouse 13, and Teen Wolf. My best friend just convinced me to start watch Teen Wolf, just started season two last night. So I'll watch the premiere tomorrow!
Wow, this Monday night is jam packed for me. Good thing Revolution ends tonight. I am most looking forward to the Teen Wolf premiere. It will be the first time I watch the show live. I dismissed the show originally because it is on MTV and I am way too old for the MTV generation, having been that age when MTV itself debuted,
As a longtime CW viewer and WB fan before that, I should have known better than to judge a show based on the network it airs. Once I finally submitted to friends' appeals and watched it, I was amazed. The pilot was awesome - action packed, humorous...there was something for everyone. It is exactly the kind of show I can sink my teeth into, pardon the pun. Stiles brings the snark so of course he is my favorite character. However what I love is that the teens are not stereotypical, Most of them are smart more than bratty. The parents are real people and provide some of the most heartwarming moments. These kids care about their parents and their parents care about them. It's not petty conflict for conflict's sake. Such a relief! The only minor complaint I have is that some episodes tend to focus too much on the romance of the main character and those episodes tend to drag. However, most episodes put the romance on the backburner in favor of the action and humor. I love that.
Teen Wolf is the greatest TV surprise of the season for me. If you too have pushed it off because of its network or its unfortunate title, I urge you to try it. The pilot is very fast moving and still gives you a good taste for the characters. I think many people will be surprisingly surprised like I was.
I am finishing up my Teen Wolf season 2 marathon this afternoon right in time for the premiere. Teen Wolf is the summer show I am most excited about this season simply because it is a lot of fun. So glad someone finally convinced me to try this series too.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
