    Is it just me or CGI of Smaug is a total disaster? In some scenes, again CGI looks so obvious but generally speaking, this movie is going to be good.

    This looks awesome despite the fact that Evangeline Lilly's character didn't exist in the book, nor did Legolas have any business appearing at all. :)

    Argh. I really WANT to like this, but they seem to be trying so hard to make it seem dramatic and suspenseful, when in reality, the stakes just aren't THAT high. They've added all these plot lines to make it more intense and fleshed out, but anyone who's seen/read LOTR (everyone?) has experienced the high stakes and knows that this isn't it ("reclaiming a homeland" vs saving-the-entire-world). I don't know if it's because they made it into 3 movies, or because The Hobbit is basically a kid's book, but I find myself rolling my eyes at most of the stuff in this trailer. Which makes me sad.
