It triggers the "what on Earth are you waiting for?" answer :).
My favourites seasons are season 4, season 7, season 8 and season 9. It's one of those rare shows that had their best seasons in their final years.
Seinfeld truly found its footing during season 3 (the first one NBC didn't mess with with erratic airings and short orders) and from that moment on, it became one of my all-time favorite comedy series, which I watched after the first 7 seasons of Curb your Enthusiasm, Larry David's other creation, which is quite simply my favorite comedy series of all time.
This is gold, I'm telling you, young folks who have missed out on this show. And the best thing is that it doesn't get old — the haircuts and clothing do, but the clever plots about 'nothing' are always pretty, pretty, pretty good.
I concur. It is one of those rare shows whose later seasons are better. There are some hugely funny episodes throughout the series run (not so much in S1 and 2 though) but seasons 4-8 are my faves. 9 was great too. Isn't that the season where Jerry goes to buy a new car and George is hungry and Kramer goes for a test drive? CLASSIC.
I watched the show on repeats. I can't differentiate between seasons. But I loved the show. I wasn't too fond of the ending but I heard they did a reunion thing on Curb Your Enthusiasm. I haven't gotten around to watch it yet. I'm sure it'll be great.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
What about 'Never seen it' answer? ;)

What about 'I'm a moron who watches CW shows and Person of Interest' answer?
ReplyDeleteHard to decide, but Seinfeld is a classic. Everyone should give it a try.
ReplyDeleteYou are 100% right. Seinfeld and Curb are masterpieces of comedie and anyone who likes the genre should at least try to get to know both series.
ReplyDeleteI'm now on season 8, and 4 and 5th are the best, then it's not that good.
ReplyDeleteHey! Don't lump Person of Interest in with CW shows!
ReplyDeleteYou big meanie. :(
Anywho, I started watching Seinfeld a few years ago as a young teenager, and I've loved it ever since.
