    Right, I live in England and Gavin and Stacy was one of my favourite programmes and when I herd that they were making a US remake I thought they were going to ruin it like the Inbetweeners (Totally ruined btw). After watching this All the characters are good except Nessa and Smithy (Called something else on this version). The Uncle Bryn equivalent was great just the right side of creepy.

    I'm not sure if it takes away from the comedy that they don't have welsh accents either. That's nessa's charm! But I think Ruth Jones had some input into the show so I'm hoping its good!

    Alexis Bledel must be desperate for a paycheck; this is terrible. What a shame to see a great actress like Jane Kaczmarek wasted here. Also, the curly guy is a super annoying Josh Gad-like buffoon.
    Then again, it probably won't last too long. I'll be surprised if it runs its entire 13-episode order.

    This just looks horrible. Gavin & Stacey was one of the funniest shows with Smithy and Nessa being two of the stand out hilarious characters. No disrespect but I just wish the US would stop remaking classic UK shows. It very rarely works.
