  1. I don't get why Leonard was picked for this.
The creators have gone very far in showing how underachieving and a failure he is comparing to the rest of his colleagues, and now he gets to work with Stephen Hawking, despite not having done anything of note?

Mind boggling to say the least.

  2. Summary : S06 E24

Howard learns of a Stephen Hawking related expedition in the North Sea and suggests Leonard for an opening in the team. Sheldon is clearly unhappy with Leonard leaving and getting an opportunity not offered him and mentions that his relationship with Penny might suffer. Raj suggests that Lucy meet just one of his friends. Penny accepts Leonard being away on a once in a lifetime expedition. Raj and Lucy have dinner with Amy and Lucy still runs away. The gang plans on giving Leonard a going away party which Raj convinces Lucy to come too. Everyone is wishing Leonard well including Sheldon who gives a quick off-the-wall toast. Lucy texts Raj that their relationship is too much for her and that they shouldn't see each other anymore. Sheldon and Penny drop off Leonard at the airport as they tell each other goodbye and "I love you". Penny stops by to check on Raj, who is complaining that he can't find anybody to love him. Then, they both realize that he hasn't had a drink since last night and is talking to Penny. In the final scene, he is with the girls at Penny's and they can't get him to stop talking.

  3. While it bums me out about Lucy, I love they've FINALLY gotten him over this "can't talk to girls unless he's drunk" thing.
