I keep waiting for this show to slip-up or have a bad scene. Hell, even a crap scene. It's not happening... I don't think I've seen a show continue this well from the get-go, ever.
Definitely. I also think it's awesome how it's implied that all those idiot people who dress up and alter themselves are like a way to hide the actual motives behind Neolution... nobody's going to bother taking them seriously (and prying into their business) all the while people think they're whackjobs.
Alison was great throughout the episode. Let's not forget her cruising the neighborhood singing Meredith Brooks' "Bitch" then had a street fight with her neighbor. Afterward, she was telling Sarah about it when Sarah said "I hope you kicked her ass," to which Alison replied "I kinda did."
This is easily my new favorite show. Someone should send screeners of this show to Syfy executives every week to remind them what a good science fiction show really is.
- Alison was really great again this week. I doubt that blonde neighbor woman is her monitor. I believe it's more likely to be Eric Johnson's character. - Sarah has done a lot of growing up since the pilot. It's wonderfully bizarre how she has ended up being the one to take care of and handle everybody. Except Felix. He still looks after Sarah. - I cannot believe how sorry I feel for Helena at this point. She is so very very broken. - Didn't Mrs. S accept the whole "illegal human cloning conspiracy" thing a little too easily?
- Anyone else want to shake the hell out of Cosima and ask her what she thinks she's doing? - I know it's not going to happen but I still want Sarah to go back and be a pretend cop again. :)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
The ending was a little grim.

ReplyDeleteThis show is amazing, Alison continues to be my favourite clone loved it when she turned up at Felix's home! Then had a breakdown in front of Mrs S.
ReplyDeleteYeah I am so impressed by it even when it heads into slightly silly sci-fi territory with the dude and the tail it still pulls it off.

ReplyDeleteAwesome character growth for Helena though. It was a really tragic/beautiful moment with her and Kira in they alley.
