I always love the endings of Hannibal, a tense with a tiny sensation of humorous satisfaction. We finally see the sweet amusements Hannibal experiences when killing and mann, was that scene with the follow up of him sipping wine with prideful demeanor was surely exquisite.
I think Anna Chlumsky did a great job here and the finale really rocked! The phonecalls were really intense! Though in the end scene she can't be dead yet, because she hasn't made any phone calls and somewhere the recording must have been made.
To be honest I felt this story was a bit slapped together. There were a lot of elements that seemed almost directly out of or at least meant to emulate small parts of Red Dragon and Silence of the Lambs.
So if it was meant as an homage then it was good. If it wasn't then it's just sloppy work.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteLoved the flashbacks, Anna! She is so great and poor Jack has no idea the man he is confiding in is her killer.
