Whoa, I thought Rosalee was a human all this time who just knew about this stuff! I really need to catch up then because I was definitely surprised tonight.
LOL at the pregnant lady practically breaking Monroe's hand when she was pushing. And the blue baby was kinda cute.
This episode had something for everyone. I was particularly excited about learning more about the keys. Here's hoping they explore that some more soon. Also Wu's one liners made me laugh. It's all in the delivery. Was not a fan of Juliette tonight though. She needs to stop talking to Monroe and putting him in a tight spot and start talking to Nick. Ditto for Nick by the way.
In all fairness, Juliette still doesn't know what the hell is going on so she probably doesn't know she's putting Monroe in a tight spot. She probably would talk to Nick but after telling him she doesn't want to see him anymore (and then immediately getting her memories and feelings back) she's probably scared to face the music.
boopers...faux pas ;) ...and what mistakes do you mean? Maybe that it was mentioned that the schwarzwald would be in Bayern...uhm ..Bavaria? ( I know that its in Baden...but obviously nbc doesn't :D)
This was my favourite wesen episode since 'Let your hair down'! The story was great and I loved how they had an animal enzyme that made their skin glow. Rosalee's childhood memories and her reaction when she saw Jocelyn glow. LOVE! Wu's punches were perfect. Sweet parts of Juliette. A little bit more with the captain and LOTS of Mon-Rosalee! Plus no Hank and Adalind! A winner for sure.
I thought this was an excellent episode. It reminded me a little of X-Files or Fringe, with those alien-like wesen. The beginning scene where Nick interrupted Monroe and Rosalee was sweet, as was Monroe's saying that the relationship is so good it can stand a little interruption. Rather hard to believe Monroe just happened to have a large version of the map so readily available.
Loved everyone present at the birth of glow-baby!
And I liked that Monroe finally decided to be open with Juliette about Grimms. I guess he realizes that Nick and Juliette don't talk to each other very much.
I liked it. Fun ep! I hope we hear more, "down the road", that Nick's reputation for being a "good Grimm" will get more recognition among the "good" wesen, but in a good way though. Not in a "let's target him" sort of way. ;) Also, I'm interested in finding out more about Monroe's map. That was cool. And, I'd very much like it if sometime in future seasons, Nick starts getting more keys. I wouldn't trust anybody else, besides Nick, Monroe, & Rosalee, with those keys, at least right now.
Awesome Wu episode! He had some great lines. Man there are some Wesen species out there with really inconvenient (in the 21st century at least) biological imperatives.
Really liked this episode. Couldn't quite tell if the hunter was supposed to be an owl or eagle? Loved the look on his face when Nick announced he was a Grimm. :-) Also like the way Nick has come to grips with the fact that sometimes a little creative management is required to get Grimm justice to merge with the 21st century legal system.
I was really pleasantly surprised that Monroe answered her question about what a Grimm is without any tap dancing. After seeing the promo for next week I could understand why they decided to postpone that scene until next episode. I did like the flashback scene though.
My best friend's parents are German. She's fluent and familiar. Her theory about the use of German is that the show's creators took German in High School and had forgotten a lot while writing the first season. :-)
I've just filed the German realated aspect of this show under... 'don't think about it too hard.'
It was cool. Nick really is a great guy and I love the blend he currently has between being a grimm and being a cop! Laughed a lot with him and Monroe, and I also liked his talk with the captain!
I liked the episode too, and the baby was a cutie. Aren't they all? Didn't quite like, though, that they let the big blue man go. After all, a farmer was killed because of him, and that poor woman in a car - what about her?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

The truth is out there. East of Portland.
ReplyDeleteLoved it!
You never saw the 1st episode she was in or the episode where she and Monroe went on a picnic? Both those episodes have her showing her form.

You definitely need to see the episode in which Rosalee was introduced. There is a lot more back story to Monroe and her relationship.

ReplyDeleteSome ... slide mistakes when it came to Germany. Guys, NBC should give you more money so you can buy a map!

ReplyDeleteWhat are slide mistakes? I didn't see any slides?
ReplyDeleteSgt Wu getting out the precious one-liners. "The truth is out there, east of Portland."
ReplyDeleteThe hunter's head 360 degree turn was impressive effects.

I think he was supposed to be an owl, but I'm not sure.
