    Really great finale.....hit all the right notes....loved that MerDer had a happy ending and baby Shepard is fine......Really glad that Christina made Owen face reality.

    Can the writers stop trying to make Jo/Alex an epic love? Not gunna happen. Poor Callie, that is an awful thing Lauren/Arizona did, Lauren doesn't even care! Ellen Pompeo deserves an Emmy and I can't wait for the baby to have some cute scenes next season... and I'm sad for Owen/Christina but I don't think this is the end... we all know it. Unless they meet someone else.

    over all it left me frustrated with so many questions but i hope richard is not dead but i think he is i thought jackson was dead omg my heart was pounding then i seen aprils face knowing she want jackson i wish it was more japril scenes !!!!!

    my heart was pounding this entire episode Jackson almost blowing up and April reacting OMG....
    Cristina letting Owen go and making him realize they cant work.
    Mer and Der having a troubledbut ultimate happy ending.
    Bailey becoming the hulk and doin the damn thing!!! (Baileys Back)
    Why is Webber almost dead wtf?!
    Calzona that scene was so freakin good i cant put into words right now

    I think I'll have to re-watch it to fully appreciate it. Overall it was good, not outstanding or the best, but good. It was a satisfying conclusion to Season 9 and I am eagerly looking forward to season 10.

    I liked it. I was 100% sure that Meredith, Derek and the baby boy would be fine in the end cause Shona ain't that cruel, so that was a bit boring even. Though I love that they named him Bailey and that they finally have some happy ending. I loved the Jackson and April scene at the end but I think Sarah's a better actress when she's doing casual or irritating scenes. That was a bit weird, her jumping around like that. I'm so glad Bailey finally overcame her fear cause that was starting to get annoying. Shocked about Richard but at the same time I'm over the moon that they chose someone who hasn't been on the verge of death yet. I'm sure he'll be fine though, cause James Pickens Jr. signed on for season 10 and they're not gonna pull some ghost-story crap. Cristina and Owen were boring because repetitive. I really hope they don't get back together because if they do then season 7 thorugh 9 will have been totally pointless regarding them then. They need to change it up and they need to not get them back together because they simply don't work. They love each other, OK, but they want different things and neither of them should have to change for the other. Callie and Arizona were surprisingly underwhelming and I think it's awful they blamed it all on the leg again. Get over it already. Arizona is right, Callie wasn't on the plain and I've been annoyed with Callie all year because she acts like she was part of it when in reality she has no idea how horrible that must've been. But Arizona needs to finally realize and accept that Callie had no other choice than to cut the leg of in order to safe her wife's life. Would she have rather been dead than without one leg? I don't think so. Hope they don't actually break up, though.

    Oh and also, I loved the Alex and Jo scenes. I'm so happy they've finally admitted their love for each other, at least Alex did - she obviously reciprocates them tho. I know a lot of people hate them as a couple but I adore them, they're cute and I think Jo's the right one for Alex now.

    I really liked this finale! For me was way better than the last one! Shonda got it right!
    Loved MerDer, happy at the end afterall!
    Crowen having that so much needed conversation, Cristina was so lucid.
    Bailey is back!
    Calzona I just don't get the cheating thing, but loved that they put the stuff out, can't wait for them in next season. And Lauren is gonna be there?!?!
    And Richard....why??

    Even with his contract, it's entirely possible they're not bringing JPJ back for season 10. They have a strict budget for the cast and they might be pushing him off the show to get extra money to make the interns regulars instead.

    What a downer!

    A waste that the Chief died. He was often incompetent, but at least he was there, and the only one who is older. In a real hospital, you do find people who are past their twenties and thirties.

    was very upset that Cristina and Owen broke up probably for good. They were the only couple on this show that I cared about and after keeping me hanging in for 4 seasons to watch for them, now it looks like they're done for good. Shonda Rhimes really, really hates Cristina, doesn't she? Meredith gets everything she ever wanted, and Cristina gets nothing but her work.

    I don't care about Mer/Derek, Calzona or Alex/Jo. I won't be tuning in next season for them.

    They should have named the baby after Mark.

    Arizona is past annoying at this point. That's right, Callie wasn't on the plane. But she saved your life, you nitwit.

    Poor fiance of April. You might as well have worn a red shirt, you were never going to get the girl.

    There was not one thing that wasn't predictable about this episode.


    When they cut to the lights coming on it was beyond obvious Weber was dead - I was just hoping they had something else for the cliffhanger.


    So next year we can expect to watch Arizona/Callie go at it for half the season and finally make up? and likely the same with Yang/Hunt.... Lame. I hope they wrap it up next season.

    I just want Jackson and April together, Karev and Jo were really cute and I like Arizona's new chick. I don't like Webber ying but of all the suspected deaths I think it's the most manageable.

    I knew, I knew that Arizona still resented Callie for cutting her leg off. But Callie was so understanding and patient with her that Arizona could't process her feelings completely and ultimately they festered inside, and ate her out.


    They should have gone to therapy.


    April is such a mess of a person; if you put her in a comedy context, it would be hilarious! Gosh, I love her.

    I'm very dissapointed. It didnt even feel like a GA's episode! I felt I was watching a novel, too much forced situations! (Meredith's labor, Jackson's fake blowup and then April's "i dont wanna marry because you almost died" thing, Crowen broking up because the same reason two seasons ago, Arizona's ring on Lauren's tshirt wtf, and that "cliffhanger" with Richard was so Desperate Housewives)

    I really enjoyed this season, but this ending just NOT. Shonda tried to give us a shocking ending like the past years, but seasons 2-3-4-5-6 has been amazing because they had been carefully written, this one didnt, thats clearly! Season 10, surprise me!

    I like the scene between Alex and Jo both deserves some happiness, I like April and Jackson scene too. I love Arizona, but man don't this with Torres, she always there for her. Bailey and Shane saving Meredith, epic. Meredith is my favorite character, so she make a wonderful job in this one. I think Christina will change for Owen, but deserves be happy together.


    Richard almost dead noooooooooooooooo. I hope they not kill him off.


    Final word for me is that I like this finale a lot was like the last season finale.

    Really don't know what to say.

    Honestly thought Jackson was going to be trapped in the bus and we'll leave with that cliffhanger. Saw the Richard thing coming when he went down the basement. I hope he dies, There's no story for him anymore. Still not feeling Jo and Alex. Glad that Meredith and baby went through a 'tame' situation. Lol. Though did anybody else wanted to punch Bailey for crying like that and making everyone think Meredith's dead?! She's a DOCTOR! That's not how you tell your patient's family news! LOL.



    Disappointed that Arizona's cheating was real. I was hoping the theory about the cheating was a mental breakdown was the real reason she cheated as it would have made so much sense. This doesn't. Callie should ditch her and take Sofia away from her. With that said, I hope Lauren sticks around. I like her! :P


    Crowen. *sigh* I love them. But I think the writers made a huge mistake with their storyline. They backed themselves to a corner and there's no way out now. As much as I want them together, it's not realistic for them to be together. One of them needs to change their minds and I hope they don't or it would just go against everything we know about them.

    I absolutely loved it!! I read of FB someone died beforehand, which normally annoys me, but it really heightened my excitement. As the end approached I knew it would be Richard which sucks :( Hope he's not really dead.

    I absolutely love Meredith and thought all her scenes were great. They were super cute with the family!

    I'm glad they broke Owen and Cristina up - I don't know why they completely repeated the story but hopefully this is it. When Cristina said she felt joy I was worried she was gonna say it was seeing the baby, but I'm glad they stayed true to both characters. And because one season isn't really enough time to set up a whole new relationship for Cristina, assuming 10 is the last this scene provides fans with the closure to know that even if she ends the season without a man, she'll be happy.

    Jo and Alex I like. April and Jackson I'm not fussed about; I was happy thinking Jackson had died in the fire. And I didn't like the Calzona fight; not the best acted from either of them.

    I found the Calzona confrontation scene really annoying. Again with the leg, doesn't Arizona get that her leg had to go to save her life. Or maybe she does and is just using it as an excuse.

    Jo forever will be a divisive character I think, some people loath her (like me) and some people like her or love her. I just think Alex deserves better. But each to their own.

    Callie and Arizona need time. Pretty sure they will work their issues out, but they have been unbearable since the plane crash. I miss the old Arizona. I hope Lauren stays, she's a good addition to the series.

    I think the point was that Arizona rather had died instead of Callie choosing to cut off her leg. How can you except the worst to happen to you by the best thing that's happened to you.

    Remember after the car crash Arizona fought to save Sofia's life over Callie's? It wasn't because she didn't want Callie to life but she knew that if Sofia had died Callie wouldn't have been able to live. Same goes the decision Callie made for Arizona on whether or not to amputate her leg. In Arizona's mind she trusted Callie to abide by her wishes. It's just how Meredith doesn't want to live with Alzheimer's so she asked Derek to promise her let her go if it ever happened. Do you think Derek would? And if he didn't you think that Meredith would lose trust in Derek in her lucid moments?


    All this is not to redeem or justify Arizona's infidelity but rather show you that this whole issue isn't JUST cheating or even about the leg. It's about how 2 people never truly dealt with their issues and come to find that Arizona isn't Arizona, as evident in Callie's last sentence "Apparently I lost you". Heck, Callie isn't even Callie from a year ago. They've both changed but neither was willing to accept it.

    No I don't believe Arizona would rather have died then lost her leg. I think Arizona understands why Callie did it but is frustrated by the fact that she decided for her and left her with a really traumatic experience. Arizona definitely needs to get over this. We all know that loosing a leg is horrible but it's better than loosing your life. She needs to accept that and forgive Callie for taking her leg because she only did it to safe her wife's life.

    I also think that Arizona's infidelity has nothing to do with Callie. It wasn't her way of getting back at Callie for amputating her leg. That was about her and her finally feeling admired (by Lauren) again, knowing someone finds you that damn hot even though you don't think so yourself. And as Jessica said in an interview, all year long Arizona had to keep it together and that must've been really exhausting so when she slept with Lauren, she finally lost control a bit.

    Great final episode! They had me worried there for a little, but thankfully derek, little baily en meredith made it okay. Overall i liked al the storylines, sad that owen en christina are now officialy over, but it needed to be done. I'm very curious where jo and alex leads us. But mn hopes lies with april and jackson. They make a great couple, and i really hope that is doesnt end up like lexie/mark. But my gut tells me that it will be dragged out trough all of season 10. And webber.... poor webber. I didn't realize it until half troughout this season that he is/was one of my favourite characters. Please shonda, don't let him die just yet!

    I loved that alex finally told Jo he loved her. I hated that Arizona cheated on Callie. Messing with those 2 is like messing with Merideth n Derrick. Hated to see that!!So now that Miss cry baby Arizona went and cheated make her suffer by seeing Callie with another woman.

    I dont think Arizona wanted to die over losing her leg. She is using it as an excuse because she cannot deal with her PTSD. She is taking it out on Callie and when she deals with it she will find she made the biggest mistake. Would be something if Lauren turned out to be a controlling abusive Lesbian. We might see a real cage fight then.Remember when Callie went after Mer?

    I hope its the end for Arizona and Callie. Callie deserves better, yes Arizona lost her leg, but Callie didn't make the plane crash, she cut her leg off to save her life... HER LIFE. How can Arizona hate her for that?! Callie probably cleaned Arizona's ass for her, and she repays her by cheating on her with a slutty hateful stranger?

    That wasn't my point. Yes losing a leg is completely different from Alzheimer's, but in Arizona's mind it is a death sentence. A big part of her did die and she doesn't really know how to cope with that so she subconsciously uses the only tangible thing that she has, her leg.

    I am completely speechless. I didn't like season seven's finale nor season eight. So I had very little hope in this one. I was wrong, this finale was so shocking my heart was pounding the whole episode. Congrats on Shonda and the writers, we criticize them when we don't like their job but we should recognize their achievements too.

    Mer/Der/baby storyline was not a big surprise, I always thought they were gonna make it ok, but Ellen's acting was superb, and there was a moment when Bailey came to talk to them that I thought Shonda had changed the hospital's name just to kill off Mer... thankfuly I was wrong. (oh, the She's our person line gave me the chills). It was about time for Cristina and Owen, really happy there was an end to their dreadful story. As for April, I thought Jackson was dead, and I'm glad she realized she still loves him, though I feel sorry for poor Matthew. I know many people hate Alex/Jo storyline (and I did too at the beginning) but I really like how they developed it, and finally he takes the first step. Calzona... I don't even know where to start, I hope they come through this, but I thought it was pretty logical that Arizona still blamed Callie for her leg, those things don't go away easily. And I didn't expect the ending... hope everything goes well for Richard, he still needs to mentor Bailey in her way to become Chief of Surgery (because she has to be someday, right Shonda???????)



    PS: Ingrid Michaelson never fails at delivering good music, her track 'Without You' just made the finale even better.

    FUCK! he looked fried in there and it was a litle predictable when you are surrounded by water you could hear the water on the floor when he was walking by D: lets hope bailey finds him in time and they can revive him! please not be dead, the calzona thing was just surprising never though she was going to find out that soon! and the japril moments, when the bus exploted was the best part of the whole episode ! that was part of what make the episode really really good! the meredith thing was good but we all know she is not gonna kill her anytime soon so i wasnt worried about that! but let me tell you something Chandra wilson is one great actress! love her emotions scenes she is amazing!
