Camp

Wednesdays on NBC (10-11 p.m. ET); Series Premiere: July 10
This summer NBC is offering up a rowdy family vacation with its new one-hour dramedy ”Camp.”

Off the grid and miles from civilization, Little Otter Family Camp has summer fun for everyone. Parents decompress over gin and tonics while their kids run wild, and teenage counselors fall in and out of love.
Mackenzie Granger (Rachel Griffiths, “Six Feet Under,” ”Muriel’s Wedding”) is the camp owner and director. Still reeling from her recent divorce, Mackenzie is ready for a fresh start. She is running things on her own for the first time and scrambling to keep the cash-strapped Little Otter from going under. She considers a buyout offer from Roger Shepard (Rodger Corser, “Underbelly”), the arrogant but sexy owner of the upscale camp across the lake. Despite her better judgment, their love-hate relationship quickly escalates. Meanwhile, she begins to realize that her charming but much younger handyman, Cole (Nikolai Nikolaeff, “Sea Patrol”), might be interested in more than just a professional relationship.

In the midst of all this, Mackenzie is struggling to be a single parent to her son Buzz (Charles Grounds), a counselor-in-training at Little Otter this year. A brash, exuberant oddball, Buzz commits himself to losing his virginity by the end of the summer. He makes fast friends with Kip Wampler (Thom Green, “Dance Academy”), a more reserved fellow CIT who is hiding a secret. Kip has fallen hard for Marina Barker (Lily Sullivan, “Mental”), a gorgeous, misunderstood CIT who has come to camp to reinvent herself.

Senior counselors Robbie Matthews (Tim Pocock, “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”) and Sarah Brennen (Dena Kaplan, “Dance Academy”) met as youngsters at Little Otter, and have fallen in love over the years. The two pick up every summer where they left off, but when the sexy, older writer of Sarah’s favorite book moves in across the lake, their relationship suddenly gets a lot more complicated.

Summer is short and sweet. It’s a magical time where we cut loose, get lucky and make the memories we keep with us for the rest of our lives.

Liz Heldens (“Friday Night Lights”) and Peter Elkoff (“Deception”) are the creators of “Camp.” They serve as executive producers with Gail Berman, Lloyd Braun and Eugene Stein.

“Camp” is produced by Selfish Mermaid, BermanBraun and Matchbox Pictures in association with NBCUniversal International Television Production.

Chicago PD

TBA on NBC

District 21 of the Chicago Police Department is made up of two distinctly different groups: The uniformed cops who patrol the beat and deal with street crimes, and the intelligence unit, the team that combats the city’s major offenses, such as organized crime, drug trafficking and high-profile murders. Leading the intelligence team is Sgt. Hank Voight (Jason Beghe), a man not against skirting the law in the pursuit of justice.

Demanding and tough, only those who can take the heat survive under Voight’s command. Take Det. Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda), for example. Despite a troubled history with his boss, Dawson has ambitions of running the unit.

If that means facing off against Voight every day, he’ll persevere. From the street cops with dreams of moving up to the elite crew who are already in, “life on the job” is a daily challenge.

Dick Wolf, Matt Olmstead, Michael Brandt, Derek Haas, Peter Jankowski, Danielle Gelber and director Joe Chappelle serve as executive producers. “Chicago PD” is a production of Universal Television and Wolf Films.

Crossbones

TBA on NBC

From the award-winning creator of "Luther," Neil Cross, and successful producing team of Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald ("Gladiator," "Men in Black," "The Ring") comes an extraordinary action-adventure series "Crossbones" -- with an unexpected moral center where one can't be sure whether the pirates or the British crown are the villains.

It's 1715 on the Bahamian island of New Providence, the first functioning democracy in the Americas, where the diabolical pirate Edward Teach, aka Blackbeard, reigns over a rogue nation of thieves, outlaws and miscreant sailors. Part shantytown, part marauder's paradise, this is a place like no other on earth – and a mounting threat to international commerce.

To gain control of this fearsome society, Tom Lowe, a highly skilled undercover assassin, is sent to the pirates' haven to take down the brilliant and charismatic Blackbeard. But the closer Lowe gets, the more he finds that his quest is not so simple. Lowe can't help but admire the political ideals of Blackbeard, whose thirst for knowledge knows no bounds – and no law. But Lowe is not the only danger to Blackbeard's rule. He is a man with many villainous rivals and one great weakness – a passionately driven woman whom he cannot deny.

Parkes and MacDonald serve as executive producers. Cross will write and also executive-produce the series. Ted Gold ("Three Rivers") also is an executive producer. The series will be produced by Parkes/MacDonald Productions; Georgeville Television (GVTV), Reliance Entertainment/Motion Picture Capital's new TV Studio; and Universal Television.

Crossing Lines

Sundays on NBC (10-11 p.m. ET), beginning June 30;

Two-hour Series Premiere: June 23 (9-11 p.m. ET)

“Crossing Lines” is NBC’s new action-packed global crime drama. The series taps into a unit mandated by the International Criminal Court (ICC) to investigate cross-border crimes and ultimately bring global criminals to justice. “Crossing Lines” is set in the world’s most exotic locales, while the elite team of eager cops work to solve the most notorious international crimes.

The series stars William Fichtner (“Prison Break”) as Carl Hickman, a wounded New York cop, pulled from the edge by a group of unlikely saviors, Emmy and Golden Globe winner Donald Sutherland (“The Hunger Games”) as Michel Dorn, an Inspector in the International Criminal court, and Marc Lavoine (“The Good Thief”) as Louis Daniel, the head of an elite cross border police unit who hunts down the world’s most brutal criminals. Also starring in the series are Gabriella Pession (“Wilfred”) as Europol Sergeant Eva Vittoria, Moon Dailly (“Black Heaven”) as French detective and criminal analyst Anne-Marie San, Richard Flood (“Titanic-Blood and Steel”) as Irish detective Tommy McConnel, and Tom Wlaschiha (“Game of Thrones”) as Berlin police officer Sebastian Berger.

Through globalization, many countries have been opened and barriers removed to ensure easy trade, travel and cultural diversity. However, this openness has given opportunities to criminals looking to exploit the system and ultimately threaten our global safety. As Europe has become a “safe house” for criminals eluding law enforcers, a special kind of law enforcement team is needed to handle specific ongoing crimes on a global level. “Crossing Lines” is the story of one such team, made up of five international cops, headed by Captain Daniel. The team – comprised of individuals who have little in common -- must learn to live and work under the most dangerous and potentially deadly conditions. Housed in an unused storage section underneath the ICC, this mismatched team faces bureaucratic, jurisdictional and cultural obstacles while traversing continents in pursuit of justice.

“Crossing Lines” is produced by Tandem Communications in association with Bernero Productions in coproduction with TF1 Production and in association with Sony Pictures Television Networks. Edward Allen Bernero (“Criminal Minds”), Rola Bauer (“The Pillars of the Earth”), Jonas Bauer (“The Company”) and Tim Halkin (“Labyrinth”) serve as executive producers.

Ironside

TBA on NBC

In the gritty world of the NYPD, no one’s tougher than Det. Robert Ironside (Blair Underwood, “The Event,” “In Treatment”). He’s a fearless cop who won’t stop until the guilty are brought to justice. He and his trusted, handpicked team of specialists — Virgil (Pablo Schreiber, “The Wire” “Lights Out”), Holly (Spencer Grammer, “Greek,” “As the World Turns”) and Teddy (Neal Bledsoe, “Smash,” “Ugly Betty”), as well as his former partner Gary (Brent Sexton, “The Killing”) and boss Det. Ed Rollins (Kenneth Choi, “Sons of Anarchy”) — will do whatever it takes to solve New York’s most difficult and notorious crimes. As a detective, Ironside’s instincts are second to none, and those around him have to stay on their toes if they want to keep up… because when his spine was shattered by a bullet two years ago, Ironside swore he’d never let a wheelchair slow him down. Nothing gets in his way.

From executive producer-writer Michael Caleo (“Rescue Me,” “The Sopranos”) and executive producers Teri Weinberg (“Ugly Betty”), John Davis, John Fox, Ron West and David Semel (“Heroes”), “Ironside” is produced by Universal Television, Davis Entertainment, Yellow Brick Road Productions.

The Blacklist

TBA on NBC

For decades, ex-government agent Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader, “The Office,” “Boston Legal”) has been one of the FBI’s Most Wanted fugitives. Brokering shadowy deals for criminals across the globe, Red was known by many as “The Concierge of Crime.” Now, he’s mysteriously surrendered to the FBI with an explosive offer: He will help catch a long-thought-dead terrorist, Ranko Zamani, under the condition that he speaks only to Elizabeth “Liz” Keen (Megan Boone, “Law & Order: Los Angeles”), an FBI profiler fresh out of Quantico. For Liz, it’s going to be one hell of a first day on the job. What follows is a twisting series of events as the race to stop a terrorist begins. What are Red’s true intentions? Why has he chosen Liz, a woman with whom he seemingly has no connection? Does Liz have secrets of her own? Zamani is only the first of many on a list that Red has compiled over the years: a “blacklist” of politicians, mobsters, spies and international terrorists. He will help catch them all… with the caveat that Liz continues to work as his partner. Red will teach Liz to think like a criminal and “see the bigger picture”… whether she wants to or not. Also starring are Diego Klattenhoff (“Homeland”), Harry Lennix (“Man of Steel”), Ryan Eggold (“90210”) and Ilfenesh Hadera (“Da Brick”).

Jon Bokenkamp (“The Call,” “Taking Lives”), John Eisendrath (“Alias”), John Davis (“Gulliver’s Travels,” “Predator”) and John Fox serve as executive producers. The pilot was directed by Joe Carnahan (“The A-Team,” “The Grey”). “The Blacklist” is a production of Sony Pictures Television and Davis Entertainment.

The Michael J. Fox Show

TBA on NBC

Look who’s making the news again! One of NY’s most beloved news anchors, Mike Henry (Michael J. Fox, “Spin City”, “Family Ties”), put his career on hold to spend more time with his family and focus on his health after he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. But now five years later, with the kids busy growing up and Mike growing restless, it just might be time for him to get back to work. Having never wanted Mike to leave in the first place, his old boss Harris Green (Wendell Pierce, “Treme”, “The Wire”) jumped at the chance to get him back on TV. The trick, as it’s always been, was to make Mike think it was his idea. After several – okay, many - failed attempts, Mike’s family, anxious to see him out of the house, finally succeeded in getting him to “run into” Green. Now their plan is in motion. He’ll be back to juggling home, family, and career, just like the old days – only better. Also starring are Betsy Brandt (“Breaking Bad”), Conor Romero (“American Gangster”), Juliette Goglia (“Easy A”), Jack Gore and Katie Finneran (“I Hate My Teenage Daughter”). Still got it…making his return to NBC, Michael J. Fox also serves as executive producer on the new comedy from executive producer/writer Sam Laybourne (“Cougar Town”) and executive producer/director Will Gluck (“Easy A”, “Friends with Benefits”). “The Michael J. Fox Show” is produced by Sony Pictures Television and Olive Bridge Entertainment.

Undateable

TBA on NBC

When confident slacker Danny Beeman (Chris D’Elia, “Whitney,” ”Glory Daze”) takes Justin (comedian Brent Morin) on as a roommate, Danny unwittingly inherits Justin’s group of romantically challenged friends. Seeing himself as the ultimate player, Danny decides to teach the crew (who he dubs “The Undateables”) everything he knows about “the game of love.” For their first lesson, Danny takes the guys to an event hosted by his sister, Leslie (Bianca Kajlich, “Rules of Engagement”), who is a single mom with dating difficulties of her own. At first, Danny’s advice seems to pay off big-time: The shy guy talks to a girl, the no-filter dude learns it’s never OK to ask a woman when she’s due, and his nebbish roommate, Justin, goes home with a mystery woman. It’s not until the next day that they figure out it was Leslie. Here’s a refreshing comedy about the “do’s,” “don’ts” and “duhs” of dating.

Bill Lawrence (“Scrubs,” “Cougar Town”), Jeff Ingold and Adam Sztykiel (“Due Date”) serve as executive producers. “Undateable” is a production of Warner Bros. Television and Doozer Productions.

Welcome to the Family

TBA on NBC

Parents Dan Yoder (Mike O’Malley, “Glee,” “My Name Is Earl”) and wife Karina (Mary McCormack, “In Plain Sight,” “The West Wing”) find out on the day their daughter Molly (Ella Rae Peck, (“Deception,” “Gossip Girl”) is graduating from high school with an acceptance to college, she announces she pregnant. Across town in East L.A., Junior Hernandez (Joseph Haro, “Glee,” “Awkward”), in the middle of his high school valedictorian speech, gets a text from girlfriend Molly that he’s going to be a daddy. Expectedly, Junior’s parents Miguel (Ricardo Chavira, “Desperate Housewives”) and Lisette (Justina Machado, “Six Feet Under,” “ER”) are also upset, as they now have Caucasians in the family. What follows is a crash course in culture blending as Molly and Junior decide they want to get married and, in doing so, bring together two very different families. The dads have the most difficult time reconciling while the moms take a softer approach to get to know one another. When the parents fully realize that their kids are serious about making a life together, the adults exhale and begin to come to terms with this new blended family and start to understand it will take, humor, love and tolerance to make it all work.

Mike Sikowitz (“Rules of Engagement,” “Friends”) and Jamie Tarses (“Happy Endings, “Franklin & Bash”) serve as executive producers. “Welcome to the Family” is a production of Sony Pictures Television and FanFare Productions.
