CBS has decided to pull tonight’s season finale of Mike & Molly, which talks about a tornado hitting Chicago (though no devastation was going to be shown).
“Due to the tragic events this afternoon in Oklahoma, we are pre-empting tonight’s season finale of Mike & Molly, which has a related storyline,” said a CBS spokesman. “A repeat broadcast of ‘Mike & Molly’ will run in the time period. The season finale will be broadcast at an appropriate date.”

It's weird that every time a disaster like this strikes, an episode of a show is pulled because it's close to what just happened.
ReplyDeleteThey made the right decision but I wonder when it's going to air.
I personally think it's getting a bit silly.
ReplyDeleteWhat's next, someones dog gets run over and they pull all tv shows with a dog in it?
I live in Oklahoma. I wish I could say it was uncommon.
ReplyDeleteI hate it when networks try to be sensitive about stuff like this.
ReplyDeleteNatural disasters - especially tornadoes - are common. You shouldn't pull an already scheduled episode of a show because of a mention of something. Especially tornadoes which in the plains and in the South are extremely common.
You might want to think about moving..or building yourself a basement if you don't have one. With climate change its only going to get worse.
ReplyDeleteProbably a good idea considering there is now a tornado less then a mile away from me.
ReplyDeleteit's showing here right now (MA). I'm tired of the shows getting pulled when all the news is showing is repeats of the same news, over and over.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry guys the episode arrive for download now on internet.
ReplyDeleteMaybe no for any old dog, but if it were the presidents dog then I can see this possibly happening.
ReplyDeleteSaw the episode and i will say this...the moment we all waited is finally revealed in the end :)
