Is it unfortunate that my favourite plotline right now is the Brick and Shelby one? Cause thought Zoe would be cute with either Wade or George, the writing isn't doing anything for her. I can't help but feel like she's regressing instead of progressing. This show has been renewed right? I'd like to see Zoe get her act together. We know that Wade loves her and George really likes her. But she keeps making the same damn mistakes it's frustrating.
I can't wait! I really hope the writers get their act together for next season. I still had a lot of laughs last night but some of the characters are just wearing down my nerves. Tansy and Zoe need to both be more comfortable with who they are and who they love.
I am so frustrated right now with this show! The Wade/Zoe interactions would have made complete sense in S1, but considering the fact that Wade recently cheated on her makes his teasing seem cruel and insensitive. He immediately regresses to the "I don't care, you're just entertaining", which makes zero sense considering how upset he was over their breakup and how much we all know he still cares. I know that the show likes to be light, but I really hope that the finale give Zoe and Wade a real conversation about what happened between them. I am definitely looking forward to George telling Zoe that although she says that she wants him, that its clear that isn't what she really wants. He wanted her but she chose Wade. That means something.
~"He immediately regresses to the "I don't care, you're just entertaining", which makes zero sense considering how upset he was over their breakup and how much we all know he still cares."~
I don't think that's what he's thinking. I think he's approach here is, "this is all I can get from her, and this all I'm worth for her, so even though I care way too much I'll take it."
Which IMO is the same reason he followed her into the house (and it is what I believed he was going for during the monogamous-sex-buddies period too). It plays into his ow self worth.
George and Zoe would be so boring together I really hope they don't end up together; Zoe belongs with Wade as far as I'm concerned they are great together, I think instead of focusing on Zoe dreaming about George they should have written something to fix the mess between W & Z!
I completely agree, but am annoyed that he is actually saying that he doesn't care rather than fighting for her. I suppose it makes sense given his low self esteem but I HATE seeing it.
I think George is just as much to blame for the Zoe/George craziness in season 1, He sent Zoe too many mixed signals When he was with Lemon he flirted with Zoe and when he broke up with Lemon he went to Zoe; then he changed and chose to marry Lemon instead of being with Zoe and then changes his mind at the last minute but Zoe slept with Wade. While he has been with Tansy, George has still been giving mixed signals( Inferring with Zoe and Brick's nephew) Although i believe he truly cares for Tansy he still sends signals to Zoe without realizing it, I also think Tansy is incredibly insecure and over reacted in the last episode. Zoe shouldn't have gone to George and told him she had feelings for him but, Tansy should've have been so threatened and trusted George and there relationship. She slept with Wade on the last episode because she was upset and drunk now I think George is gonna step in and change his mind at the last minute again and expect Zoe to to jump at the chance to be his second choice, just like last season. I don't think Zoe and George should be together there timing sucks and Wade needs to grow up already, really apologize for cheating on her and ruining the best thing that's ever happened to him, he needs show his real feelings before like the idea of Zoe/Wade again.
Absolutely correct. He's trying to remain in her orbit and if the bantering and teasing still gets her attention then that is Wade's MO. Notice that he is absolutely aware of Zoe's social life with George, online dating and offering silly advice. So it must pain him deeply, but knows she's trying to move on. Remember they have NEVER had a conversation about the breakup. Any other couple would be shouting and crying asking questions like why did you do it, was I not good enough, was the relationship real, etc. Yet this couple has not. They have suppressed their emotions regarding the relationship and won't admit that it was serious or whether either was in love. They need a major conversation and I'm hoping it happens in the finale or the writers suck.
Exactly, it's craziness and nonsense all around. Say you describe season 1 to someone who doesn't know what it is about, you'll say "a doctor from NY finds herself in Alabama and tries to become a part of the community while getting to decide between two charming men". Now let's try that for season 2.. "A bunch of immature indecisive 30 year-olds go back and forth between each other trying to find out whom they have feeling for, they pick one, screw up, decide they were wrong, pick another, repeat". Aw how exciting.
I get that, but this is a guy who so easily cheated on the love of his life because she believed too much in him... I know it sucks, but it's what the show set up so I'm kinda left with having to go with this explanation, and in that context I guess it does compute. Again I agree... It sucks! I'm not arguing with that part...
Well the way they've handled the whole thing, I think we can all agree the writers DO suck on some level. I think the point here is will they be willing to fix things at all....?
I totally agree with you. He loves her and it hurts to be with her but he knows she needs him right now and again, thinks of her before his own feelings. He just pretends not to care so much when in reality he is totally in love with her. He is willing to take what he can get from her.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Of course he is! What kind of a question is that?

I think that would be wishful thinking, but I do envy your capability of hoping for it....

Is this the only storyline these writers know how to write? "I love him, no, I love hime, no, I love him....ok! I don't know who I love!"
ReplyDeletehaha, zoe, lavon and annabeth in bed together, I want to know how that comes to be! Good to see those two still go strong, only reason I watch.
