Rejoice : in 26 days, 15 new episodes of Arrested Development will be upon us.
If you start watching AD again now, episodes 1, 2 & 3 today, then two episodes per day to end with the last four episodes in a row (as they aired on FOX), you'll finish season 3 on May 25, all ready to go for the new batch.
The poster above has come out with a few different taglines attached to it :
1 — Back from getting canned.
2 — Look who's out of the box. Again.
3 — Now the story of a family that couldn't be contained.
Seriously so excited for this!!! Rewatching seasons 1-3 have never been so fulfilling
ReplyDeleteWell at least they look more comfortable than this Season 3 poster!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I just had a thought.
ReplyDeleteThey released character inspired posters with iconic imagery earlier this month. It seemed like there was one for each family member with George Sr's being the prison ice cream sandwich. Then they released the Glisten toothpaste poster which is an obvious reference to George as well.
Could the prison Ice cream sandwich be for Oscar?
When did Netflix order a 15th episode for this season???
ReplyDeleteNetflix picked it up for series last Summer if I recall. The plan was to have a ,movie after a short season with each episode concentrating on what character has been up to since Season 3.
ReplyDeleteAs they started filming the season expanded from 9 to 11 to 15 episodes. The final episode count of 15 and release date of May 26 were announce in the beginning of the year..

I don't think it is. All nine posters were released at once last week and now we get this one on its own, I don't think it's meant to complete the other ones.
ReplyDeleteGood reference, which, I'm ashamed to say, I didn't catch at first : no idea what Glisten was. Now <a href="http://arresteddevelopment.wikia.com/wiki/Glisten'>I'm seeing this</a> and I remember perfectly Michael finding something in the dirt outside the model home, but the brand?! I thought I was a huge fan of the show, turns out I'm not... :( [cue in Charlie Brown sad walk]
Ha! XD
ReplyDeleteYep, Glisten was George's tooth paste of choice. I think they may have identified the body because of its gleaming white smile? OR maybe he was just known for it? I vaguely recall some reference to George's smile....
I need to do a re-watch before the premiere!
Luckily AD goes by sooooo fast once you start watching episodes.
