This should be a multiple option thing. But since I have a feeling Crowley will still win, I'm gonna go with Alastair, cos that sod still gives me the meanest of creeps 5 years later.
Crowley is the most fun out of them. Meg? They ruined her eventually and then they killed her. YED was one of best too but we didn't see much from his own POV.
Alastair played by Christopher Heyerdahl was pure evil and I loved him. Was killed off way to soon. Crowley and Meg were both very good, but they just never gave me the creeps like Alastair did..spooky dark evil.
I love Crowley for his snark but the villain has to go the original big bad, old yellow eyes. Without him there would be no story and he was brilliant.
Went with Lucifer, but Crowley and Alastair (especially when Christopher Heyerdahl played him) are close. I guess Death doesn't count as a villain, but I really hope we see him again. And since the Trickster turned out to be a good guy in the end (an angel, even!), I guess he's off the list, but he may well have been my fave guest character.
Yellow Eyes. He didn't outstay his welcome, unlike Crowley and Meg who are not the least bit intimidating anymore. Ruby never was intimidating, and became even less so in season 4. Lucifer and Alistair were great, but props given the the YED who started it all.
The only ones on that list that I ever felt intimidated by were Yellow Eyes and Alastair. The others all became too comical to be intimidating and Meg wound up being more of an ally in the end. Lilith could have been a contender if her death hadn't been necessary in breaking the final seal...
Personally, I really liked Zachariah as a villain; he was quite possibly the most frustrating and continuously thwarted the boys.
This is a very small list of villains, all of which are demons for some reason? Out of these - Lucifer.
If I had the option? Zachariah. He was snarky, slimy, was able to identify and abuse all of the Winchester's weaknesses (Adam included), was a more immediate threat than most villains, essentially masterminded the entire Michael/Lucifer showdown and removed Sam's lungs.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteMeg ftw!
ReplyDeleteCrowley hands down!

ReplyDeleteIs this an April's fools joke?Someone created the some poll not long ago.
ReplyDeleteAnd where is Dick Roman?

ReplyDeleteRuby 1.0, didn't like 2.0
ReplyDeleteLucifer !!!!!

ReplyDeleteFavorite villain? Crowley. Creepiest villain? Alistair. Most unexpected to bring comic relief? Lucifer.
ReplyDeleteThese polls are just randomly selected on the site - I do remember the same poll, but it had a lot more villains on it the first time around.
ReplyDeleteI voted for Lucifer, I think helped by Mark P's brilliant portrayal.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite SPN ever though would be Gordon (not listed).
I will always love the first Supernatural villain: The Yellow Eyed Demon, but also Lucifer was a good villain.

ReplyDeleteThis is a poll I created a while ago, be a pretty sucky joke yea?.
ReplyDeleteit was a cross between YED and Alistair. Alistair and Dean were perfect as far as good and evil
ReplyDeleteI see now :)

Lucifer - for awesome laught.
ReplyDeleteok, cool :)
ReplyDeleteI love Crowley, but James Patrick Stuart was great as Dick Roman, just like Mark Pellegrino [and Sam] were wonderful as Lucifer.
ReplyDeleteThis is a tough one.
Azazel was the ultimate villain.
ReplyDeletePersonally I found him more dangerous than Crowley.
