    where is Emma with Graham? seriously I like hook but he and Emma haven't develop much thing yet, and young Emma with Neal is good, but Neal right now is just a big asshole, the one true love with Emma til this day still is Graham, they have the most chemistry tgt and the storyline is heartbreakingly beautiful! her kiss even break Graham's curse so he remembered his true identity, now that's true love.

    Since non-canon couples apparently are taken into consideration (Mother Superior/ Grumpy) I suggest Mulan/Aurora and Emma/Regina. Both couples are fan favorites. Both couples have a real impact on a lot of people. Both couples make more sense than anything that's listed above.... from a storytelling perspective.

    And yes, I'm very well aware of that Astrid was probably added by mistake.

    It's a bigger "mistake" to leave LGBTQ* couples out of the discussion, because the show decides to discriminate against those.

    I really like both Belle/Rumple and Snow/Charming,each for different reasons.
    As for the couples that are not quite there yet,I think Emma and Hook have great potential.It's definitely the pairing I'm most looking forward to.

    I like Belle and Rumple. Buuuuutt, I think Ruby and Belle would be absolutely adorable. Why can't Ruby be Belle's beast? I admire Belle's desire to help Rumple. And I like the person Rumple can be with Belle by his side. But I just don't see it ever working out :( I think Rumple would just keep hurting Belle unintentionally. And I actually think he's a better person when Belle is not with him - when he's trying to be a better person so that she can be with him without him hurting her emotionally.

    The writes like to give each character more than one fairytale personality.For example,Rumplestiltskin is also the Beast from Belle's story and the "crocodile" from Peter Pan,who cut off Captain Hook's hand.So Belle and Rumple is basically Beauty and the Beast.

    I found out that Emma/Regina are considered a ship after season 2 started and I've been watching the show from the beginning.What I'm saying is that if someone doesn't follow the online community of a show it's logical to not know some things.

    Why "gross"? I like Cora/Rumple. They understand each other. Cora doesn't want to change Rumple like Belle does(even if I like Rumbelle too) but instead she accept him the way he is, and he does as well. I don't get why the general reaction I see (on youtube videos ou tumblr or here) is "eeeeewwww", or (and I quote from an 2x12 video where Cora kisses Gold) : "FUCK THIS SHIT, RUMBELLE 4EVER! No seriously, FUCK ANYONE WHO LIKES THIS.". Well this is just stupid. Like what you want but don't share the hate for what you don't.

    They're all pretty insufferable. Cora and Rumple were the most interesting and watchable but that was a tragedy in motion.


    The platonic relationships are much more interesting.

    Hmmm this is hard one.


    I guess Rumbelle for me! I like what Belle signifies for him as a person. -I'm not sure what he signifies to her, but I suspect we'll learn that in time.


    I've been torn about Emma. One one hand I think her and Neal relate to each other and Emma seems to be able to be more bluntly honest with him and I think it would be nice for Henry if his parents could come together after the fact, but I also liked Emma's relationship with August, despite that he might not have done the right thing, or that there could be other motivators behind some of his choices.


    Next I would say I like Ruby and Gold and Hook and Aurora. Probably won't see these come to fruition, but I did enjoy scenes between those sets of characters.


    Snow and Charming I like better in flashbacks. There's something about the nature of a small town that doesn't do that romance justice.


    I hope Regina finds someone though. I think it would be nice to see her with more prospects, or actually able to go and find Daniel.

    I voted for Regina and Daniel. But I think Regina and Emma shoud be on the list. They are hugely popular in the internet fandom of Once Upon a Time and they are not less canon than some of the couples that are on this list! I have many friends in the fandom who would vote for them.

    I'm really not a big Rumbelle fan so it's not about that plus I absolutly love Cora and Rumple as characters. It's just that when I look at their "romantic" scenes together it gave me creeps like litteraly an uneasy feeling in the stomac. I'm not sure why since like I said, I love Robert, Rose/Barbara, Rumple and Cora plus young!Cora's story was amazing and her relationship with him was really interesting. So it's not about "RUMBELLE 4EVER!" or "hate" it's more about how I felt when I saw those scenes. I would love this see more of them because I loved this storyline even if I find it a bit creepy it's damn more interesting than some other things we saw this season :)

    So I admit it was a little stupide to resume all of this comment with "gross" but I'm not that good in explaining myself in english :)

    How do you know they are straight? Because in the past they each had one relationship with a man? For all we know they could be bisexual. I don't like this attitude that everyone is automatically thought to be straight until proven otherwise. Sexuality is fluid.

    Alright I understand. ^^ I'm reaaaally sorry I drew conclusions too quick. :s It's just that I've read so much bad reactions about Cora/Rumple that I interpreted yours as one as well. Please excuse me. ^^ And when I said stupid, I was not talking about your comment in particular. I was referring to all the offensive comments about ships. Not only about Cora/Rumple, for any ship it's the same. And of course I'm not saying one should not express it's opinion, saying for example "I don't like Swan Queen, I prefer Golden Queen" is ok. It's just people going on swan queen videos and saying "But they hate each other, they're not even lesbians! It's weird and creepy" that I think are a problem, it's just rude for no reason. Again, I'm really sorry about my misinterpretation. =s

    I don't know: I think presentRegina would be different if Daniel were still alive. He was her true love after all. The main reason for the curse was to punish Snow for making a mistake as a child that lead to Daniel's death. There probably wouldn't have been a curse.

    I don't get the coupling either. I see zero romantic sparks between them. Now, Aurora and Mulan, I saw a little something the last time we saw them in present-day FTL. But not between Emma and Regina. They're Henry's mothers, nothing more.

    I voted Snow and Charming although I also like Belle and Rumple and Emma and Neal. August is more of a friend/brother to Emma and Hook is just slimy. And Belle brings out the best in Rumple, even when she didn't/doesn't remember him.

    I voted for Emma/Graham although he died before they got into coupledom.


    By default, Snow/Charming and Rumple/Belle have been the two longest-lasting relationships. Leroy/Astrid. Rumple/Cora and Regina/Daniel didn't last long enough to have been a real couple.



    What's scary is how many of those relationships would be considered abusive if they weren't on TV.

    The worst is Regina/Graham because he literally was her sex slave -- she forced him to have sex with her when she wanted it and he could not refuse.

    Emma with Hook, Neal or August ... all three of those men have been willing to hurt or abandon Emma in order to advance themselves in some way. Love is putting the other person ahead of yourself, not using her to get what you want whether it's money, power, or distance from your father.

    Regina spends her time either trying to kill various members of Emma's family, hurt Emma herself or steal her child by wiping his memory. Is there any way she hasn't tried to abuse Emma?

    We don't know if they were only interested in men, And even if they were, sexuality is fluid. And what I see clearly on the show, is amazing chemistry between them. Emma doesn't have or had this kind of chemistry with any man on the show.

    Sorry But Emma/Neal has lots of chemistry. Some people seem to think they don't have chemistry because the actor isn't a male model and that's stupid. Emma had the most chemistry with Neal and Jefferson and she has the worst chemistry with Hook. They are the most forced relationship ever.

    Neal treated emma was his one true love 10 years ago, still considering to see Emma when August tell him he's going to break the curse 2 years ago, but then opps, a hotter girl bumps into him, then screw Emma, Tamara is my one true love now, we are getting married, even after curse was broken he was not going to meet Emma,explain and apologise for what he did, just hide like a coward. if he don't want to go to storybrooke because he's afraid of his father, he can always give Emma a phone call, or ask August to bring her a msg or whatever.

    Now he's all "I need Tamara", which I honestly don't know why he does, so needy.

    I totally agree with you on Hook/Emma. I could like it because normaly I kinda like "badboy/goodgirl" relationship (Buffy/Spike, Sawyer/Kate, Elena/Damon ect.) but they don't particulary have great chemistry and the writers, actors and media are so forcing it that sometimes it made me really hate it. I agree with you too about Jefferson/Emma but I still really don't see great chemistry with Neal (and it's not because he isn't a male model since I find him very attractive in his way I love his smile, the way he moves ) I mean sometimes chemistry is obvious and sometimes it's a matter of preception. For example, I think Emma and Regina have insane chemistry but I know a lot of people don't see it my way and that's ok :)

    I must be out of touch too, because I'm a huge fan of the show and not aware of this pairing as a fan favorite. As for queer options, others would make more sense to me i.e. Archie/Marco, Mulan/Aurora... Emma and Regina hate each other too much. Regina has tried to kill Emma a few times.

    When did Regina try to kill Emma again? Because the apple-turnover was meant to make her fall asleep (killing her would cancel the curse) And the encounter in Golds shop was more subdueing her than actually killing her.


    Sometimes I wonder if I'm watching the same show. Nevertheless, a lot of ppl just see chemistry/good interaction between Emma/Regina, that doesn't mean all will of course, everyone;s free to ship whomever they want.


    Point stands that emma/regina probably has the second largest fanbase right now (after rumbelle)

    I'm okay with Neal and Emma too....

    I do ship Regina and Daniel, but I think that's a little moot at this point.


    I see some validity in Cora/Rumple, but I can't say I hardcore ship it.




    Some other pairs that are not on the list but I do like: Mulan/Philip and Sean!Thomas/Ashley!Cinderella (who I would like to see again BTW)


    I also have a bit of a crack ship on this show: Hook/Aurora. I think there's potential there for some reason...

    Those other ones irks me as well, and i would have complained about those as well if there were as many people who kept going on about them as there is who goes on and on about Emma and Regina.


    And i don't care one bit about them being two women, if it had been in line with even one story line on the show that they could be considered a couple. I would be all for people shipping them, but it haven't.

    Yep I don't ship SQ but I feel some people saying that both are straight should go watch BTVS. I mean we all thought Willow was straight. She was in love with Xander for years and then had a serious relationship with Oz. She didn't realize that she was gay until season 4. And I know it has happened on other shows too.

    But that doesn't really mean anything. Have you watched btvs by any chance. Willow was a character that everyone thought was straight. She was in love with Xander for years. She had a serious relationship with Oz for two years. And then BAM season 4 she fell in love with a woman. And there are other examples of straight characters falling in love with women in other shows too. So just because they have only been portrayed as interested in men so far doesn't mean that won't change.

    How can Emma/Hook can have so much votes without one single comment on it ?! XDD

    I voted for them anyway, that's my favorite pairing for now. I see so much potential (if Hook changes a little)

    I also love Ruby/Whale. It was a complete surprise to see it but I liked it.

    I have nothing against Emma/Neal, I loved their scene so far and I want them to stay close but not romantically.

    As
    for the SwanQueen's pairing, it's true that they should have a option
    other than "leave a comment" because it's a huge part of the fandom but
    sorry guys I can't understand this ship. I'll never hate on it or
    anything because if you love it it's cool. But I can't see any sparks in
    it. I love their relationship, I love it you have no idea, and the
    actresses have so much chemistry but I can't see anything romantic in
    it.

    I watched the season 1 like 3 times and even if I love
    their scenes I can't see any clue about their possible "changing sexual
    orientation".

    But I can understand I have my own ships
    male/male for example (Sherlock/John...Destiel...) Just that even if I
    love them, I don't think they're gay... But we never know. Maybe you're
    right.

    (Captain Swan isn't even close to be canon for now and it's still my favorite pairing)
