    Whoa, such a sausage fest on those options, way to go.


    From those, Gabriel is a no-brainer. I have really missed him.


    But I really want Anna back, she was always such a fascinating character and I felt her arc was too short. Besides, with the angels back on business, It could be part of a bigger arc.


    Bela as a demon is something I've always wanted!


    And of course, Ruby, she was a lot of manipulative fun.

    Got to be Trickster/Loki/Gabriel for me! Love the character but love the episodes he's in and the meta-ness he inspired even more! Benny's second for me. Really enjoyed the tone of that character.

    In truth, none of the above because most of these characters are dead, or supposed to be locked away in a cage. I'd like to see the show move forward, not keep relaying its greatest hits.

    But actually I wouldn't mind seeing Balthazar again. I think there could be a strong case made that he saw Cas' attack coming and faked his death.

    Even though I would have picked none of the above if that had been an option, I voted for John with mixed feelings. I imagine the John we'd get now would be very different from the one in season one.

    I am of the secondary characters that die should stay dead thinking. Therefore as much as I love Bobby and Gabriel, every time someone comes back from the grave they cheapen death a little more of this show. Let the dead stay dead. Therefore I am going to twist this poll around and pretend that the Michael being talked about is the kid in Something Wicked, not the archangel. He and Death get my vote although I would be good with having AlphaVamp back if only to fulfill last year's promise.

    If she hadn't died, I would go for Bela too. I didn't mind her. In season 4 I was wishing Bela came back instead of Ruby, whom I disliked since the moment she walked out of the tree.

    If the show hadn't cheapened the whole notion of death as much as it has I would agree with you. But if they insist on killing the boys so often and not keeping them dead, then all bets are off (the first time for each was maybe okay -and I would actually challenge Dean's because of Mystery Spot).
    Dying is past the point of being a big deal on SPN so I don't care. If I can get a favourite character back, then I'll take it.

    This is a tough poll. Bobby is always welcome, I've been waiting for John to return since Season 2 finale, Gabriel/Trickster is always welcome, and Death just commands your attention with his presence so he'd be cool to have back too.

    Too many. Off the list: Bobby, Adam (just to get him out of Hell or know he got out somehow- even if it only was to return to Heaven), John, Death, and the Alpha Vampire.


    I miss Gabriel and others too though. I think it would be cool if there was another afterlife - not Heaven, Hell, or Purgatory, but some other place that held dead angels and demons. It would be interesting and allow visits to many dead characters without bringing everyone back to life (death needs more meaning on this show).

    I'd love to see all of these come back. But I voted for Trickster. I miss him alot and there is so much potential in that.


    But I'd love to see Ellen and Jo, or even Bela come back, maybe as a demon. That would make a nice twist.

    I voted for The Trickster/Gabriel; my first choice is Bobby but I think the show will bring him back if there is some feasible way to bust him out and the same goes for Benny. The Trickster is a longer shot because either "God" would need to resurrect Gabriel or the "Real Trickster" (played by Richard Speight, of course) would be found alive.

    Much as I'd like Bobby back, his character is supposedly at peace and Jim Beaver is very busy, my first choice is the undeniably cool Death.... especially with the current storyline, I'm sure Death has an opinion on both the gates of Hell getting closed and Naomi's machinations in Heaven.

    From this list, I choose Death. I always love the way he verbally bitchslaps Dean. Makes me LOL. And he's pimp. I second the Bela choice. If only they could unscrew up what they did to Ava and bring her back. I was a hardcore Ava/Sam shipper. God, I was throwing things at the end of season two's finale. Bastards.

    I wish they had never killed Bobby, I really, really do. I kind of hate that they are trying to make Garth the new Bobby. and I really like the character. But, he isn't a genius and the guy taking Bobby's place should have more than good intentions. However, since they did kill Bobby, I don't want them to "bring him back". He can do another cameo or flash back.... but it wouldn't feel right really getting him back.


    Two of the deaths that I just hated that I think could be reversed without totally breaking canon are the Trickster and Balthazar. Balthazar faked his death before, and so did the Trickster. The Trickster could have just been trying to stall Lucifer long enough for the boys to get away. Then, he wanted to stay out of the way because he provided the Winchesters the information that could help. So, now he is back in witness protection. Same thing with Balthazar. I really hate that these "eternal" beings gave up their life to help the Winchesters.

    The only ep that is lower on my list than the Ghostfacers is Bitten. I stopped watching Psych for the very reason I don't like GF, because I can not stand grown men than act like 12 year olds. ;)

    ^^; I don't really know...he just never stood out to me as a character. I never hated him or whatever, I just never really cared too much if he lived or died or don't really care about seeing him back. I found it hard to get close to someone everybody call ''Sir! yes Sir'' every time. I get it that he tried his best to raise his sons and needed to prepare them/train them (Adam died cause he wasn't prepare), but don't think it would've kill him to show some affection at some point in his life. I never found the ''it's not my fault, its cause my wife died and I'm so devastated and I need revenge'' a reason to justify everything and feel bad for him/want to hug him or whatever. But like I said, I never hated him, just didn't care about his fate.

    I done this quite a while ago if I saw meg died earlier I would of put her in. I forgot Bella but I love Ellen and Jo but they should not come back it would be too original. I still hope ya'll enjoy after all death or the vampire is .more likely to come back I was just thinking logically ;)

    I think your argument doesn't really hold up, because then there's a bit of a double standard if you're excluding Ellen and Jo, but you are including Trickster!Gabriel and Bobby and John.

    And there were various other female options, Pamela too for example... Rachel... Atropos... the lack of women on the poll is quite glaring and there is no real way around that IMO.

    I've compensated by creating another poll with females. I haven't wiped them out of my mind I simply forgot to put them in, and I didn't add all of the male characters either so I would think you can see my point, it was a disorganised move.

    You didn't add all the male characters, but in a pool of characters you ONLY chose males.

    When that was pointed out your argument was that the two more popular choices were too obvious, but then again you had no problem including the most obvious male options in the poll.


    Compensating with a poll just for women doesn't change the fact that, as disorganised as you may or may not have been, when you sought out to make a generic poll you diss-included women.

    Discourage? Hardly not. How about making people more considerate of what they should be aware of when making polls?
    And I don't think SPN will have any problems from getting polls on the USD POLL roster because of this. It would be nice however to see the polls submitted be a little less prejudiced....
