    The days of true blood being awesome died when they killed off Godric. The show should be cancelled. It's awful not awesome

    Obviously not everyone agrees with you. It's 'True' it has some problems, and of course most book readers aren't real happy, and for me season 5 is one I'm not that found of simply because I felt it lacked character development and/or time for the characters to really come together (I think it was too manic), but honestly what makes True Blood great is it's fun, campy, bombastic take on really serious issues, while also telling a story about a young girl thrown into the middle of it.

    Yeah suppose but its different strokes for different folks I suppose, although Season 5 wasn't great it was still fun and like DarthLocke4 says below its campness and strange humour is what makes it awesome
