  2. I'm not saying this to but down the walking dead or to say its number aren't amaxing just commenting on its comparison to the other networks, especially game of throne.

I live in canada where AMC is included in the standard cable package whereas HBO is a special channel you have to pay $10 extra for a month. Obviously this means pretty much everyone can watch Walking Dead live whereas a lot of people will watch Game of thrones online for free. This will obvious result in Game of thrones having lower numbers because online isn't included.

As for the other shows they seem to just be random shows a different channels picked to show that walking dead had higher numbers.

  3. Viewers in Canada do not count in these ratings :) Only US viewers

  4. I know I was just pointing out that HBO is a special channel that you have to pay extra for compared to AMC. Unless in the US HBO and AMC are included in the same price package. Is that the case?

  5. If Game of Thrones was on a channel like AMC, you'd have to take out all the sex and graphic violence and nudity and language. I can not possibly imagine as many people would love the show with those elements gone. I still think TWD would outperform it, as it has outperformed every other show on a similar network.

  6. Hmmm well, I guess it would depend on the service provider. I know that AMC is a cable network so you have to have a cable package to get the channel. I have Time Warner and I have to pay extra for the movie channels so I don't have HBO. But when I had Verizon Fios at my old house, the package we had offered both AMC and the movie channels. I see what you're saying though, but even still, I feel like TWD would outperform GoT for some reason. Even Talking Dead outperformed it... which is weird... cause it's a talk show. Either way, it's a win-win for both shows. They both increased in numbers when they were supposed to rival eachother. So most people expected one of the shows to dip in ratings. Turns out, people are tuning into both of them, which I don't mind at all :)

  7. It's great to set new viewer records and all, but the quality of the episode really did not deserve it.
