  1. I knew this was what we're getting next .. lol xD

ok! so now Stefan is the one actually making plans to bring Elena's humanity back while Damon just makes excuses "she doesn't want the cure" really Damon? where's you persistent nature now that you got the girl .. or you think she's better with her humanity off?

this show baffles me tbh .. but i am tuning in :)

  2. A progress cause she didn't kill anybody for a week or so? That sounds insane. Or is it just me?
"Throw the football around for another 150 years so Elena gets her humanity back?" Well, it's not like they wouldn't have the time.
I'm for plan B. Not the best way to treat a "lady", but probably the safes for the rest of the town.

  3. Lol! I'm for plan B too, especially since this new, emotionless Elena is driving me crazy! XD

  4. I don't like the emotionless Elena either. And I didn't like the whiny, weak Elena in S1 and 2. I liked her in S3, when she became stronger and fought back. And in S4 after she got used to her life as a vampire (you know, the eps before she turned it off).

  5. Idiots. I'm getting annoyed with how dumb these these two are being about this situation. They keep on insisting this cure is going to fix all of Elena's (and their) problems but it won't. Being human won't fix anything.

"What happens when she gets slammed with every emotion she's suppressed since Jeremy died?"
I'll tell you what happens. Elena is finally going to have to put her big girl pants on and deal with her sh*t like an adult. The Salvatores need to flip her switch so all the people who care about Elena can help instill her with the coping skills to deal with grief, loss, anger, etc. in a responsible adult way. That damn magic bullet immortality cure isn't going to fix anything except Elena's ability to efficiently hurt and kill people.

  6. To be fair, to someone like Elena, killing all those people might cause her to have an emotional breakdown when the humanity is back on. Especially the way she treated Jeremy's body and her home. It might be too much all at once and she'd probably be self hating for a long time. She tried to kill Caroline(and her mother), she killed several people too. That would be a lot of stress to be dealing with all of a sudden. I mean I agree she should deal with it, but it is a legit worry.

  7. She was already in the midst of a full-on emotional breakdown when Damon flipped her switch. It would be a lot to deal with and, emotionally speaking, it'll take its toll on her but dealing with it is better than not dealing with it regardless of the difficulty. She needs to develop coping skills. Avoiding this stuff and taking magical cures aren't going to help her improve as a person.

  8. Agree. And I think that's the reason the brothers are not asking Becca or Elijah to compel her to turn her humanity back on (which would really be the easiest way). Cause they know, if they force it on her, it will do more harm than good to her. That is why I also think it would be no good if they give her the cure. She would get her emotions back, before she can deal with them and it would destroy her.
