  1. Hm, say "No" Alicia, "I shiver to someone else's presence".

  3. It's pretty obvious, NO! I think Alicia is better without Peter and Will, she should be on her own for som etime and become stronger...Those two guys are not everything. She deserves someone better.

  5. Not romantic at all but on the other hand, they've been fucking in that bus for quite some time so the bust has meaning to them I guess.

  6. Random question I have been asking myself for a while : where in hell did Peter find the 600 k he gave Alicia. Where know he only makes 220 k and he has the mortgage for their old house to pay and we also know he lost all his savings when he got sent to jail...
This doesn't make much sense. I know it's random but I cant help but wondering.

  7. He doesn't have that kind of money, but what I understood happened is that Alicia borrowed money against the mortgage of the house, and to do that she had to have his consent and signature. He then replied that he doesn't see it as a loan but as an investment, since as a partner she will make a lot more money and will be able to pay it back quickly.

  8. It doesn't look like the face that is going to agree to the proposal...

  9. Yes but the house never belonged to her, or maybe she does own it since Jackie stole from the kids' trust funds and Alicia made her put the house in their name so she'd have control over it but since peter is paying the mortgage she'd need his signature but doesnt she have a mortgage on her own apartment already?

  10. I don't believe she eventually bought her apartment, and even if she did its value is much smaller, so borrowing against it would be smarter. I assume the house bought under the Florricks' name, and that would mean she owns it (on paper), too.

  11. well they made it sound like she didnt have a choice, either buy the appartement or find another place to live...I dont know, it doesnt matter anyway but thanks for the answer!

  12. She better throw him a big NO on his face. This guy has absolutely no rights to ask her this, he cheated on her big time, he can go to hell... And Alicia's mom reaction was priceless xD

I think the point is not how Peter got the money for Alicia. Maybe the money may come from his savings,or the campaign funds. The point is Peter is willing to front the money without any hesitation to his wife, in name of business decision, which means no pressure for Alicia. Alicia was so moved, saying "it means a lot to me." I wonder where Will was at that time, he slept with Alicia for more than half year, and did nothing for her.
In fact, it is not the first time Alicia got help from Peter or Peter's influence in her career development. She saved her job by using Peter' connection through Eli(season 1,episode 20), while Carey was fired even he had better job performance. She won the only partnership among the five associates because the all partners believe "her husband is going to be the governor" (quoted from David Lee) .
Margulies (Alicia) has described her character as "She's all of a sudden one of the most important people at the law firm because everyone wants the State's Attorney's wife -- perhaps governor's wife -- to be part of their case, it's sympathetic with judges," "And it opens doors for her ... that she didn't realize she wanted to open for her that way." Alicia is very ambitous, she loves power and prestige, Being state's attorney' wife or future governor's wife can realy futher advance her career.

  14. I hope she doesn't say yes although I have a bad feeling she will. I really enjoy her dynamic with Will, I hope they keep that.
