A new angel is joining Supernatural‘s flock, and we’ve got an exclusive first look at Curtis Armstrong (Revenge of the Nerds, Moonlighting) as Metatron, the reclusive scribe of God.
Armstrong makes his debut in the May 1 episode (The CW, 9/8c) — penned by fan favorite Ben Edlund — when Dean and Sam seek out the heavenly creature to fill in the holes in Kevin’s research.

At least it looks like he has a great library. Add that to Bobby and Grandpa Creepy's libraries and put them all with the Men of Letters and you might have the answer to all things supernatural.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I hate to see this season end, I can't wait to see Booger!Angel. :-)
ReplyDeletewhy would metatron need a gun?
ReplyDeleteHe falled.
ReplyDeletejust what I was thinking...
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to this character quite a lot. I love anything to do with angels on SPN, and I'm hoping we get some good insights and additions to angel lore. I also love it when other angels editorialize about Castiel ("Too much heart was always Castiel's problem," "When Castiel first laid a hand on you in Hell he was lost") so I'm hoping we get some of that as well.
ReplyDeletethinking he chose to lost his grace or something like that, that he lost his power in some way. Didn't he say in the tablet that he was done after the demon's tablet or something like that?
ReplyDeleteI think the boys gave him a surprise visit
ReplyDeleteI think Metraton will be likeable :)
ReplyDeleteSo not how I pictured Metatron.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking the same. He chose to give up his powers and just hang out on earth. Sorta like City of Angels. But without Meg Ryan.
ReplyDeleteholy shit its booger.
ReplyDeleteI think he was punished -- like Prometheus
