Last night's episode was one of the finest hours of television I've ever seen.Let's see if the finale surpasses it..!

  4. One of the most powerful moments in the entire series -- the acknowledgement of all the people who have died -- Sura, Mira, Oenomaeus, Melitta, ..., Crixus.....

This has been a tremendous run. Sad to see it end.

  5. I actually really didn't like the last night's episode. The only good thing is that tiberius was killed and kora got her vengeance. The plot haven't advanced at all, and they only have 45 minutes to kill off all the good guys and wrap it up. I have a feeling it will be a very rushed sries finale. At this point i just hope laeta and kora don't suffer a horrific deaths.

  10. I think the same.

This season was a big walking in circles.

I liked that Tiberius died, and Kore got her vengeance too (sadly, not Naevia). But the plot was pretty poor. I can't believe they had, once again, the opportunity to kill not just Tiberius, but Caesar too, and they choose to believe the prisoners were still alive (I can't believe Crassus kept them alive) and to do an exchange. BIG suspension of disbelief. The story nor the characters are moving this season, just the "coincidences" to fill for 10 episodes and the need to move from point A to point B, just playing with the viewer in the meantime.

I'm really frustrated by this season. With Vengeance it ended in a perfect way. And not because I want a happy ending. I know how it will end.
