I'm really not at all convinced this show should be delving into relationships that were active 1.5 or more decades ago, it doesn't suit the whole concept of an action packed adventure type series. I'm not condemning the concept, but I will say that it has to be pulled off very convincingly for me to go along with it
ReplyDeleteBleh, I agree. Especially when Miles isn't exactly someone who would get too emotional over something like that.
ReplyDeleteConsidering that Miles has two love interests already, I'm not sure adding a third is a good idea. Aaron's bit looks like fun though and Mark Pellegrino is back! :D
ReplyDeleteI don't think it will last.I am sure ultimaly Monroe will use her against Miles and she will end up getting killed by Monroe.
ReplyDeleteActually sounds pretty good.
ReplyDeleteDisagree, as thematic with the last episode title: "Ghosts", WAR is the perfect vessel for humanity to reflect, as this show isn't just an action adventure show, it's a show about humanity, through the scope of exploring what a family/community is, trying to become better people. It's a debate bout types of tools humanity uses in relationship to how societies are formed and if certain types of tools matter?
ReplyDeleteBad Robot is notorious for using any genre to tell a compelling drama about people coming together through unique landscapes/circumstances. Revolution is no exception.
I think she'll be used in way to reveal something to us about Mile's over all nature in regards to his other love interest (Nora, Rachel). Emma might tell us what Miles needs, verses what he doesn't and depending on what happens to her, (Bass no doubt is going to use her) might also foreshadowing something with the other two, as I still something is going to happen with Nora at some point.
ReplyDeleteYeah I am definitively agree with you !!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you in ever word you say.
ReplyDeletePlus: I think maybe Emma is more than love interest for Bass and Miles, so I wait to see what it.
"...Emma is more than love interest for Bass and Miles"
ReplyDeleteAgreed.
I have that feeling that Jason is not going to stick with the group, i don't think he can run back to the militia though . he wouldn't anyway. but i feel on the rebel side he will end up leaving , he probably gonna come back then wont be able to stay and leave , he barely gets any screen time.
ReplyDeleteYou are probably right. I'm hopeful she will provide more insight into Miles and Monroe, and their respective relationships. Though they are not allowed to kill off Annie! :P
ReplyDeleteAnd another 24 alum is in the guest list, Leslie Hope, though I don't like her. But that's probably from who she played on 24 as she was quite okay in The River.
Why do you think Nora's hallucination will come true in Georgia, they have Alligators there? Honest question.
And true, Maureen Sebastian is guest starring, so there at least will be flashback's for Aaron or we learn more about Priscilla in the present. :)
"Why do you think Nora's hallucination will come true in Georgia, they have Alligators there? Honest question."
ReplyDeleteYeah, they are known to be in Georgia, Louisiana, and Florida/Everglades! - basically the southeast corner of the US areas. A common pop-cultural reference is in Florida the have alligators in the sewers.
No, didn't mean to imply you meant an actual alligator! But now I understand why you think something will happen in Georgia, it makes sense with the foreshadowing! :)
ReplyDeleteAlligators in the sewers? *shudders*
I'm wondering if Ben and Rachel could have adopted Charlie? How long ago did Bass and Miles know this Emma??
ReplyDeleteCould be! Would be great to get any more info on the man that has been missing for so many years!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I think it'll be an important ep for Miles. He's just stepped back into the role of General and is obviously worried how that will affect his path to redemption. Not to mention he just killed a man who might as well be Charlie, who he is now responsible for, proving he's failed as a father figure in the past. What better way to resolve all of these doubts and worries then to revisit his beginnings?
ReplyDeleteWe saw from the Wondercon trailer that Emma dies. Should be interesting to see how Miles reacts to that and what it does to him character development-wise.
