-Ratings Breakdown:
Due to a 57-minute "Masters Golf" primetime overrun, the individual program results for CBS are approximate. That said, it was an easy Sunday overnight victory for CBS, which beat the three competing networks combined and finished a distant first in each of the eight half-hours. The "Masters Golf" overrun led the evening with a 12.9 rating/23 share in the in the 7 p.m. hour. Next was an 8 p.m. edition of "60 Minutes" at a 9.1/15, followed by "The Amazing Race" (6.7/10) and older skewing "The Good Wife" (7.3/12) from 9-11 p.m. All were above average and all are returning next season. An 11 p.m. edition of "The Mentalist" scored a 5.3/11 in the overnights.
NBC opened the evening with a two-hour encore telecast of "The Voice" at a 2.6/ 4 in the overnights from 7-9 p.m., followed by two-hours of "Celebrity Apprentice" at a distant second-place 3.8/ 6 from 9-11 p.m. Although that is down by a noticeable 24 percent year-to-year (versus a 5.0/ 8 on 4/15/12), "Celebrity Apprentice" is poised for victory among adults 18-49 in the 10 p.m. hour.
Over at ABC, a repeat of veteran "America's Funniest Home Videos" (#2: 3.3/ 6 at 7 p.m.) led into an original installment of "Once Upon a Time" at a below-average 3.3/ 5, which finished a distant second at 8 p.m. "Repeats of "Revenge" (#4: 1.9/ 3 at 9 p.m.) and recently introduced "Red Widow" (#3: 1.9/ 3 at 10 p.m.) capped off the evening for the alphabet net.
Diluted Fox closed the night with its combination of an encore of Bob's Burgers (#4: 1.1/ 2 at 7 p.m.), and the original rotation of "The Cleveland Show" (#4: 1.5/ 3), "The Simpsons" (#4: 2.5/ 4), "Bob's Burgers" (#4: 2.1/ 3), "Family Guy" (#3: 3.2/ 5) and "American Dad" (#3: 2.5/ 4) from 7:30-10 p.m.

Will we be able to watch an episode of The Mentalist at his current time? I hope so for the season finale. LOL
ReplyDeleteYeah!! I hate CBS for that ....I had to download it in the morning!
ReplyDeleteIt sucks really. I'm italian, so I have to download the episode next morning anyway, but I'd like to watch the season finale in live streaming (which is 4 a.m. for me LOL)... Fingers crossed!!
ReplyDeleteYay for The Good Wife!
ReplyDeleteYou guys know CBS doesn't just do it for the fun of it, right? It's because they show various big sporting events, and if they overrun then those are the priority (as they bring in big numbers). Luckily, there doesn't seem to be any sports scheduled on CBS for the night of the finale, so it will be on time :)
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to the Cleveland Show? I don't see it on the table. Was it even on last night? I am hella confused
