Today's Early Overnight Ratings

This table shows the early overnight ratings. These ratings are normally adjusted later in the day when all the ratings have been consolidated to take into account any local preemptions and/or overruns. You can find all the final adjusted numbers in our Ratings Database. (See the About section below for details about ratings)

About the Daily Ratings

Each day (except Sunday) we post the TV Ratings for the previous night.

The first item that gets posted (normally around 2pm GMT) is the early overnight analysis based on the early household numbers (these are not the same as the Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers that are posted later).

Later on (normally between 4pm-5pm GMT) we post the official early overnight Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers in the table above.

Finally, later in the evening (10pm-11pm GMT) or the following day, the final adjusted ratings numbers are released, these are then posted in the Ratings Database. The Final Adjusted numbers are what we use for all our Renew/Cancellation Tables, Full Season Tables, Ratings Scorecards etc (see below)

  1. i'm a bit worried about go on :(

  2. I have a feeling the reason why Glee did as well as it did is because Grey’s and PoI were repeats, but that’s JMO.

  3. Seeing that yesterday was full of repeats, I guess people got bored and decided to see Glee instead.

  4. It doesn't look good for Hannibal, the demo is good(comparable to svu and chicago fire) but the number of viewers is low. It's nbc...

  5. You realize it has the highest numbers of the night for NBC and it kept it's momentum from last week right? I guess you're a moronic cunt though so it doesn't surprise me.

  6. Either that or they watched it live because they normally DVR it. Who knows. I don't watch it and wouldn't even watch it out of boredom, but that's just me.

  7. So Hannibal is holding steady for now, right? I'm hoping it's not just because Scandal and Elementary were repeats, I hope it stays around 1.6-1.7 in the demos, which is what SVU and Chicago Fire do.

  8. Glee did a freaking good episode to be honest.
One of the most powerful episodes.

  9. So happy for Hannibal, even with the series premiere, that's very rare ! Even though it was against repeats and even if the pilot had an "encore presentation" on the day before (a good 1.0 on A18-49, Wednesday at 10), perhaps the curse is broken. If episode 1.02 pulls a 1.6, same as the pilot, then I don't see episodes 3-6 going below 1.4, and that would mean renewal, especially in such a devastated time slot.

Happy for the Community bump too, may it rise again next week, this week's episode was such an adventurous idea. And hopefully Go On will be renewed as well. Best new network comedy of the season.

  10. Number of viewers are 100% irrelevant for renewal prospects.

  11. Yeah, you should. I like Go On too, but it is very much on the bubble right now and if I had to guess, I would say it is more likely to be canceled than renewed.

  12. I was so scared for 20 minutes ahhaha!

  13. Let's keep our fingers crossed Hannibal stays steady because I'm just LOVING it.
