  1. Brienne and Jaime fight was amazing! Also loved Sansa and the Tyrells, but all the episode was excellent!

  2. I voted for Brienne and Jaime just because Sansa and the Queen of Thorn was a little bit less awesome than the books, but Jojen and Meera joining Bran was also a great scene!

  3. Jamie and Brienne's story is my favorite in this book, but the scene for me that really surpassed all the others was the minute long moment with Bran, Jon, and Robb. It made me cry.

  4. Tough call. I went with Joff letting Margaery handle his weapon, since (IIRC) there's no such scene in the book, but this one added some great moments of characterization. Brienne and Jaime fighting and Jaime realizing as Brienne pounds on him that he might actually lose was fine as well--as were many other moments in this episode. But we need some maimings and decapitations soon!

The fight on the bridge, I thought it was very well done.

  6. Th Joff and Margaery scene for me!

The way she managed to take each of Joff's thinly veiled threats and sidestep them without missing a beat. It was watching a master play!

The capper is the way she dealt with Joffrey mentioning he may outlaw homosexuality....
She paused, then leaned in and touched his arm and told him he was right and had the prerogative to do so if he wanted and then what she did was simply BRILLIANT! She caressed his crossbow! XD

The little sadist may not get aroused when a beautiful women makes eyes at him or touches him, but when Margaery caressed his weapon of death he was into it! He changed the subject to the crossbow instantly and Margaery had once again played Joffrey like an instrument!

  8. Brienne and Jamie and Sensa meeting Lady Olenna

  9. This was difficult. I love Jaime and Brienne. Mostly because of their story in the books, but I really do think it has been done well in the show aswell.

Margaery is getting better in every episode and her scene with Joffrey was just brilliant. It was fantastic seeing Joffrey uncomfortable.

I´m not one for the big fighting scenes, I like the dialog much more. So I also really enjoyed Catelyn talking about Jon.

    Ended up voting for Jaime/Brienne.

  10. How about that....no Tyrion scene to vote for in this episode. I think that is the first time ever. Normally his scenes are very popular.

  11. Very true!
His scene with Cersei was ruined, or at least spoiled to a large degree by all the trailers....

I honestly liked his scene with Shae quite a bit though honestly. I know many hated it if for no other reason than it had Shae in it. XD

  12. It made my list!!! But I like to try to keep the list down to the 6 top scenes - otherwise I'd just list _every_ scene. Also, Tyrion is my favorite character and I'm always worried that is coloring my judgment...

  13. People don't like Shae? Really? I love them together! This scene was the last one to get cut before I posted... So technically, it's my "other"...

  14. The fight scene between Brienne and Jamie was fantastic! I love how she is ready to kill him yet steps in front of him to protect him when anyone else appears to be a threat!

When Lady Stark confesses about not loving Jon,how sad that was...

Just gotta say,i'm loving everything about this episode!

  15. Sansa and Olenna. I kinda like this cool grams.

  16. The best part about the Margaery and Joffrey scene was that she said the exact words she said to Renly: "whatever you need to do; you are the king". It was brilliant.

  17. Every single Brienne and Jaime scene, they are so good together

  18. Yeah, wet with the obvious 2 choices Olenna/Sansa/Margaery and the final fight.

But the Catelyn scene I really felt out of place. On top her ridiculous comment that the war and Ned's death are caused by her hatred for Jon Snow.

I so agree! I racked my brain going back through the series (which I've read 4 times) to think of any situation so far where Snow's current state has had any direct impact on the things happening south of the wall, whether Catelyn would know of them or not, and came up blank. Even with Snow in wine for Stark succession, he's still behind Robb. Downright silly scene.
That being said, this was the best expository episode to date, in my opinion. Sure, when Ned died, or when Winterfell burned, those episodes have more effect. But this episode was just quietly almost perfect.
I am loving Margaery, and wistfully wishing she'd had POV chapters in book 3 or 4.

  20. I always love the scenes with Lady Stark and the first apperance of the brother's reed.

  21. She meant that she felt like the gods were punishing her for not keeping her promise about Jon, not that her hatred of him physically made any of it happen.
