Person of Interest - Character Relationship Chart - Updated

9 Apr 2013

After Thursday's sensational episode, Person of Interest is on another 3 week break, returning on April 25 where the first of the final trio of episodes will air, with the season finale airing on May 9.

To help bridge the gap, here is the latest edition of the Character Relationship Chart. The modifications to the chart in this edition include the death of Cal Beecher, the inclusion of additional information we've learned about Greer, and newcomer Samantha Shaw's new "hobby", which is hunting down Root

I think every POI fan will know that things are already being set up for an excellent season finale. There is an incredible amount of activity happening right now, and I know that for myself, not having the chart to reference would make the storyline a lot more challenging to keep tabs on. It's one thing to follow the story and know the characters, but it's another thing entirely to understand the story, the details, and the subtle hints and references that build the story

At the moment, Beecher is dead thanks to HR and his godfather. Elias is fighting a bigger player who we haven't seen yet. Shaw is hunting down Root for a showdown that will be fascinating. Greer is onto Harold's scent - they were so close to each other that they could have made eye contact. The Chinese are being used as a decoy by Greer's outfit, which is a very clever disguise. Monica, the POI in Thursday's episode, is off to work for the company Finch owns (Finch will ensure she is employed), and she's yet another character we could see recurring, with her knowledge of the networks she was a part of, and helped set up. Carter is heartbroken but more driven than ever to get to the bottom of the corruption in the ranks above her, and Fusco is starting to make some moves. I see in the press release for the next episode, Fusco's past will finally catch up with him, with the possibility of him going to prison definitely on the cards. Could him an Elias have a little meet and greet at some stage?? I can't wait to find out! Oh, and Reese continues to kick ass, and Bear is TV's coolest canine, who came in very handy on Thursday!

Hey guys, thanks for the work but there's a typo. In the first episode Reese framed Fusco for the murder of Stills not Davidson. He had Fusco imply he murdered Davidson in order to get in with HR.

  4. Hey Jimmy, I noticed that you provided a paragraph summary of the current state of things in the show above the link to the chart. I don't know if you've done that every time you've uploaded an update or not, but could you please keep doing it? It's a great alternate way to keep my parents in the know. I'm trying to come up with some ways of displaying the chart on my phone because I can zoom on it whereas printing it in a readable way just takes too much effort. I've also made it very clear to them that you created it. Also, I've noticed a problem with the POI airing schedule. They actually have 4 episodes to air after Trojan Horse, not 3: In Extremis, Zero Day, God Mode, and the finale (which doesn't have a name yet). I'm wondering if CBS has even realized this yet because right now according to the schedule they've released, they have 4 episodes still to air and according to their schedule they only have 3 Thursdays to air them. So one episode doesn't have a date to air on. Have you realized this yet or know anything about it? Also, I already posted a comment about this on another posting with the details of this discovery and I'd thought I'd paste it here so here it is.

I've noticed a problem with the POI schedule. According to the press release for the next episode, In Extremis, it's going to air April 25th. According to this, the finale is going to air May 9th. There's one Thursday in between those 2 Thursdays, May 2nd, which makes a total of 3 Thursdays. Problem is, they have 4 episodes still to air, and from what I can figure out and according to this, it's not a 2 hour finale. So one episode doesn't have a date to air on. I wonder if May 9th is a typo or if they're going to air In Extremis this Thursday, April 18th, which is supposed to be the last Thursday that they were going to skip. If anyone has also noticed this and/or knows the solution please post it.
