Thanks to ME for the heads up and to Laurie for the video.

  1. Rumple is certainly getting desperate! He's asking for help again.
Go, Charming. It's good to have someone as powerful as Rumple to owe you a favor.

  2. David's memory trigger was windmill. I wonder what will be Belle's I mean Lacey's.

  3. Insulting Granny's food might be Rumple's biggest mistake to date.

  4. I read your post and the first thing I thought was "Granny with a shotgun". Ahh the image that put in my head.

  5. so there is hope for Belle's memory

  6. Adam & Eddy already confirm she will get her memory back. Besides, how could she not?

Is it bad that I could 100% imagine Granny pulling out a shotgun from under the table on those two right that minute when Gold says it? :[

  8. Gosh, it's getting increasingly difficult to watch this show and unfortunately I'm far too invested in certain characters to drop it... :(
On the one hand, I hate seeing Charming so tolerant toward Gold again (but hey, he's *family*, right?).
On the other hand, I had such high hopes for Snow's metamorphosis, but they keep treating the "evil in her soul" as an abstract thing to do with magic, rather than something all human beings are predisposed to and have potential for under certain circumstances.

Anyway, my only consolation is that "The Evil Queen" ep will include more Regina/Snow FTL scenes which may somehow be tied to Rumple as well, so that's promising. It's so exciting when the ep remains a mystery - we haven't seen 7 sneak peeks for it yet!

  9. Aww, Rumples is willing to owe someone a favour to get Belle back. And lol @ Granny, she's like "bitch, how dare you"

  10. Right? They've really dropped the ball on Snow's storyline.

  11. I always thought Rumple remembered after a while on his own or are we supposed to believe he found Henry for Regina by accident?

  12. Wow, that was intriguing. It also explains the change in Belle/Lacey. With the addition of Robin Hood and some action with FTL Rumpel and Belle, this could all make for a really good story. I hope so, anyway - heaven knows Once has made some pretty big mistakes this season.

  13. I think we need to give Snow's metamorphosis a little more time. They seem to be portraying it as something with both magical and psychological dimensions. After all, we've seen the potential for darkness in her before. However, if she totally goes crazy and starts flinging dark spells all over the place without a darn good justification, I'm not going to be pleased. My theory is that Tamara and Greg's machinations will be the breaking point for her, and she'll start turning to darker means in an effort to defeat them. That would pretty much make sense, and I wouldn't even blame her.

  14. Well maybe it was accident and maybe it was August who somehow managed to give little Emma's baby to Regina? Idk, but we will find out it.
I think that when Emma introduced herself he remembered. That's why he wanted to know her name before the curse was cast. He knew that every person will have some memory thing to click when they see something/someone or some word whatever. and his was Emma;s name.

  15. I thought Rumple/Gold already owes David a favor for helping to find a then-missing Belle, and stop her dad from pushing her over the memory-erasing-town-line in the mines?

  16. Unfortunately, yes. I expected to see some actual inner struggle from her, instead her reaction seemed a lot like PMS-ing.

And there was just so much potential for great drama in this situation...

For example, what would Henry feel, knowing that his biological grandma (Snow) and grandpa (Gold) are responsible for the murder of his adoptive grandma (Cora)? How would he feel about Snow manipulating Regina into killing her own mother? Wouldn't he be upset with the Charmings?? He was devastated and angry when he suspected Regina of killing Archie, but he's not at all disappointed by Snow?? Why?

And what does Emma think about her parents now?

Furthermore, wouldn't there be tension in Snow and David's relationship? After all, he risked his life to stop her from killing Regina, because she had "the purest heart". It seemed obvious that he held her kind nature in high regard, and that's why he was so intent on preserving her innocence. But he's not the least bit angry or disappointed with her, so I'm quite puzzled. What is it that he loves about Snow, besides her looks??

Ugh, so many missed opportunities, it's frustrating.

  17. "After all, we've seen the potential for darkness in her before."

Precisely! But David keeps treating her like she's got the flu and she's not to blame at all for doing what she did! And worse, she also refers to that "darkness in her heart" as if it's something that can be cured by flipping a magical switch or whatever.

What happened to Snow's speech at the end of "The Queen is Dead"? We saw actual psychological development there, it was a logical consequence and it was parallel to Regina's "I should've let her die on that horse" moment at the end of "The Stable Boy".

The only way this "Dark Snow" scenario can play out satisfactorily, is for Snow to indeed reach a breaking point soon and turn to dark magic, the way Regina did. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that's what "The Evil Queen" ep is about, because I'm running out of patience with this show.

  18. but maybe August was lying. It was not the first time. He was contacting someone and we know that it wasn't Neal. Rumpel didn't remember his past when Regina came to his shop so he was lying or really he lost memory.

    ReplyDelete
  19. But there was a scene with August and Mother Superior. We saw them together...

    ReplyDelete
  20. Well, yes, we did. But we still don't know what happened. If she had her memories, why she didn't do something? I mean she was pretending and still is. And btw how and why she was the one with her memory?

  21. Who knows what she wants but she is trying to stay behind the curtain so to speak but there are obvious signs towards her being a bad guy. For example the show's description of her is that she is an ancient being that rules the NIGHT. Not something you say about someone good. Probably during all the years she's been alive she realized that PR is important and if she is percieved as GOOD then she is likely to have less problems...

She was the one giving Bae the bean that was supposed to lead to a land without magic BUT it led him to Neverland instead which has plenty of magic. She was the one who basically told Rumple that a curse is the way to get back his son. Plus she says there are no more beans to Rumple but it's 200 and some years later when James and Jack kill off the giants who are growing them. Her lie about the tree is what seperates Emma from Snow. And I could go on.

  22. Huh, when you actually wrote that it looks like she is evil. I mean it can be pretty interesting tirn on the events when she actually lose the very nice and friendly face and put on her real evil thing.
