In the season 2 premiere, Kiera resurfaces after the mayor is killed in a brazen assassination. She reunites with Carlos to solve the murder and also tries to reconnect with Alec, who has changed since reading the message from his future self.

    Alec has changed? Continuum had better be careful with that. Alec's step brother was the absolute worst part of season one and we don't need another annoying teen on the show. So, however the writers choose to change the character, they'd better consider how any personality / behavioral changes will affect how enjoyable it will be for the viewer.

    i feel like Alec might have changed in a way more heading to his future self, which in the timeline not a bad idea, he is not per say bad in the future in fact one of the leading members in the future community, and also the one who sent Kiera back to fix stuff.



    or also he might have changed in a way that his future self wants him to be this time around.

    As long as Alex hasn't lost his sense of humor I'm fine with it. You can't expect that message he read not to have any effect on him.
