It's the highly anticipated centenary episode of Castle tonight on ABC! Unfortunately a TV show only has one centenary episode in its lifetime, so we have nothing to compare it to in terms of ratings and audience.
For what it's worth, the 50th episode of Castle happened to be the first episode of the season 3 2-parter, titled "Setup", which aired on 21 February 2011, and was written by David Amann and directed by Rob Bowman. It earned a 2.6 rating and 8.99 million viewers. Tonight's 100th episode, titled "The Lives Of Others", is written by Castle creator Andrew Marlowe, and his wife Terri Miller, and directed by Larry Shaw, who has directed just one Castle episode prior to tonight's one - the fourteenth episode of this season titled "Reality Star Struck", otherwise known as the Valentines Day episode

Another few fun facts. when 10pm rolls around, it'll be exactly 1484 days since Castle first premiered. That's 4 years and 23 days, or 212 weeks, or 35,616 hours, or 2,136,960 minutes, or 128,217,600 seconds. If you've been obsessed with Castle since day one, can you believe it's been that long!!
You can vote in the polls below for your guess at the rating and audience for tonight's episode, and remember to share your thoughts in the comments. It'll be an interesting night in the 10pm timeslot once more, with Hawaii Five-0 and Revolution both competing against Castle for ratings and viewers
Thanks for reading and voting!!

Actually H5O is on repeat. Im hoping for a 2.3 for Castle. Fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleteGood point on H50, can only but help Castle!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping for a 2.3 and between 11 and 11.5 millions viewers!
ReplyDeleteI think it's possible because of less competition with H5O on repeat and this episode is really expected by all the fans! Plus, the reviews from the journalists for this episode describe it like an amazing episode, which offer everything we want for this season 5 and that we didn't have yet! Some even says that it's better than "Always"!
So exciting for tonight!!
I voted 2.2 (but I think a 2.3 is a thin possibility) and 10.5-11 million:)
ReplyDeleteI went with a 2.1 and 10-10.5 million viewers. Of course I'm hoping for more, but Revolution and The Voice over at NBC are a force to be reckoned with. Especially since DWTS isn't reeling in such great ratings... Still I hope I'll be proved wrong tonight! So excited for this one :)
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing 2.3 for ratings and up to 11 millions viewers. It is possible, H50 is on repeat and considering 100th episode, and I think this is would be great episode in the season.
ReplyDeleteI bet the ratings will go through the roof so I voted for 2.5 or higher, with more than 13,000 viewers. Aiming high, but this show is so deserving of those ratings and so worth it.
ReplyDeleteI'm a proud dedicated, obssessed from day one fan!!!!!!
I think it you might mean 13 million not 13 thousand?
ReplyDeleteYes I do! 13, 000, 000, sorry! :p
ReplyDeleteGlad there's no H50 tonight. That may have struggled up against Castle's 100th episode.
ReplyDelete2.1 or 2.2 . Could Castle beat DWTS ???
ReplyDeleteMy Ratings 4 Tonight's as Always hope for the best .... 2.5 or above & More than 13 million...!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI thought so,no need to be sorry! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going with 2.3 with 11 / 11.5 Mil..
ReplyDelete2.2/2.3, people are way too optimistic if they think it will go higher than 2.5. Not facing H50 will help, but I don't think it will go higher than 2.3, certainly not higher than 2.5.
