  9. i don't know, I think she started to like him first (on season 2) and he really started to like her on the beginning of season 3

  10. Beckett in danger, yet again. Marlowe please be more original. I dare you. How many more times are we going to see Beckett in danger? Before she finally kicks it? *sigh* Becoming ridiculous now.

  11. well, she's a cop so of course she's gonna be in danger more than once ! :)

  12. You do know she's a cop, right?

  13. Since when you are the writer of the show? You can't tell A.M how to do his job cause he is fuckin jenius and i think he'll make the ep perfect he doesnt need your advice nd he's very original Castle has nothing familiar with the other shows i've watched so he's VERY ORIGINAL!

  14. Castle will argue, but I submit she fell first and then Rick followed. In the last few episodes of season 1 she expressed some interest in Castle that went beyond book writing. Whomever fell first, they are both in love now. Best series ever. how is it possible this show can get any better?

  15. I can't even comment this synopsis because I'm dead by reading it XD

  16. I like when Beckett's in danger because I know they're not really going to kill her, and it brings out a lot of emotions from Castle, so back off!

  17. I am so in love with this press release. These high stakes eps are the best.

  18. That's an interesting thought about her having a head start because of her love for Castle's books and definitely true!
I wonder if we'll finally hear from her how much his books meant to her, it's always been alluded to through their teasing and other characters comments but never directly from Kate herself.

  19. It'll be interesting to see how this goes. This was done on Hawaii Five 0 a while back this year but was done well so I am excited to see how awesome it is on Castle.

  20. This episode is going to kill me. I'm already preparing for the overload emotions that I know I'll feel

  21. Calling it now: Castle and Beckett are going to go all Ron&Hermione on this (I sure hope so), Beckett while in the imminence of the bomb going off and killing her is going to try to say "I love you" to Castle and he is not going to let her say it, not in that situation and that if she really feels that way he prefers to wait until they're both safe again.

    A girl can dream, right?

  22. I can't wait to hear their banter. Think they both loved each other early in season 2. Hope both Castle and Beckett say when the each fell for the other. Long time fans will be screaming! Best show ever!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Oh the things they could bring up, I can't wait to see the banter but also the drama this is bound to bring up.

  24. I think it will depends if they are fighting to be first or the last one to fall.

  25. this means that Gates will find out!!! :o

  26. pst. Kate of course first. loved his books already, then get to work with him, and then in side her head probably like omg im working with someone ive liked for awhile, but his charming personality makes me not want to be the one to admit liking him first.

  27. Though I don't think we will get the feeling that Kate is really in danger, it will make for some great Castle/Beckett moments! :)

  28. it is unoriginal. And RIseOCD, there are plenty of ways to grow characters without having them face life and death situations. The fact that Marlowe and company can't find a way is disheartening. And I will be totally pissed if this one of those gimmicks where it is done (the life and death peril) in 15 minutes. Nothing upset me more as a viewer than to have my emotions played with like a rabbit with a carrot dangling in front of it.

And since you yielded a personal attack at Erica ("I don't even understand how you can still watch the show and think like that, just quit !!") I must stand up for Erica (who I don't know, btw) and say that as a fan I feel slapped by that comment. We are entitled to our beliefs and have the right to criticize. If we think it's unoriginal, it is unoriginal in our eyes. There's nothing wrong with that.

If you don't like it, deal with it. In a mature way. But attacking them and telling them to stop watching? That's going a bit far.

It's like saying to a Xena fan that doesn't see the subtext between Xena and Gabrielle that they're blind as a bat. It's offensive and totally uncalled for.

And quite frankly, I'm sick of my "castle fandom" being attacked simply because I don't like an episode or an aspect of the show.

  29. And quite frankly, I'm sick of my "castle fandom" being attacked simply because I don't like an episode or an aspect of the show.
I think this happens all too often when someone expresses a dissenting opinion of any show with a passionate fan base. It's fandom's version of McCarthyism and it stinks. The implication that someone isn't a "real fan" because they're critical of some aspect of the show they watch is just plain garbage.

Now, that being said, I believe that the complaint of unoriginality is unwarranted here. This is a procedural cop show and putting the main characters in life and death situations is imbedded into the fabric of the premise. It would be like saying that CSI is unoriginal for continually using forensics to solve crimes.

Every single series regular on this show has been put in mortal danger at one point or another, except for Captain Gates. It's not just something the writers repeatedly do to Beckett. Most have had their life at risk multiple times. What kind of detective show would this be if there were never any physical threats to the detective?

  30. I do prefer the solving of cases to the "put one partner in danger" to have dramatic emotional relationship moment. Especially in that there is absolutely no tension in the concept that she is actually in danger. The tension has to come from them solving the problem that put the bomb there in the first place, because the idea that Kate is in danger from the bomb is silly. I also don't like the trope of pressure bombs. It is supposed to heighten the tension from the physical situation, but it never works very well. And after the one in Lethal Weapon it won't get funnier, so just quit it.

Really this forced stuff is still coming from them trying to keep drama in the relationship with Castle and Beckett, which still isn't working for me. It's muffled Castle and I hate emotional drama cliches--like this one.

  31. awww, she's smart. She's known all along. Bet you an ice cream cone.

  32. meep. #Castle handles bomb situations so well.
