In Plain Sight‘s Mary McCormack has joined NBC’s Welcome to the Family, TVLine has learned.
In the single-cam sitcom from Mike Sikowitz (Rules of Engagement), cultures collide when a white family and a Latino family are bonded together when their children fall in love and soon must deal with an unplanned pregnancy.
McCormack will play Katrina. She joins Glee‘s Mike O’Malley, who’ll portray one of the grandpas-to-be.

Aw, yay! I've missed her since In Plain Sight ended (Forever bitter about that ending, though, tbh).
ReplyDeleteAre you a Mary/Marshall fan? Yeah I just pretend like that episode doesn't exist. I told my sister she couldn't watch it because it would just ruin it. But yes also glad to see her back on. Hope her character is sarcastic.
ReplyDeleteYup! It wouldn't have been so bad if they hadn't built them up so much that last season in promos and the episodes themselves, but pulling the rug out from underneath us at the last minute was just wrong.
ReplyDeleteLots of good pilot casting news these days. I wonder if the character will be totally different than the one she played on In Plain Sight. Hope not because I miss Mary's snark and kick butt tendencies, although not her family drama.
