    I loved season 1, really enjoyed season 2, liked season 3, and got really annoyed with all the new characters in season 4 and 5. I´m not to excited about season 6, but will still watch it.

    Season 2 was the best by a long shot, with that hilarious orgy and the whole town "zombified" and the fellowship. Then season 1 is the second best IMO. The one I liked the least is season 3, it was just all over the place and it barely had a sense of direction.

    It's been downhill from Season 1 IMO.

    Season 1 was by far the best.
    Season 2 was the beginning of the end with more concentration on useless secondary characters and the addition of over-the-top-camp to the series.
    Seasons 4 and 5 were terrible.
    In fact Season 5 was so bad it made me quit watching the series altogether honestly.

    Season 1 - The Best IMO because it was the most character driven and fresh.
    Season 3 -Next because Russell plot was SO fun (and still character driven)
    Season 4 - Next because I like the concepts of ghosts/spirits and shared conscience (Marnie wasn't traditional villain). It was paranormal!
    Season 2 Next because it juxtaposes season 4 really well, I enjoyed Mary Anne and the Tara story lines
    Season 5 Worst because it was so uncharacter driven and it seemed like a mad rant that perhaps will serve as an 'ok' bridge to season 6. (Although I liked Pam and Tara story line and Billith could be interesting)

    For me, either season 3 or season 4. Season 4 had 8 episodes of Sookie & Eric heaven followed by 4 episodes of hell. Season 3 was when Eric Northman ruled, and the Russell revenge story-line is the best one that didn't come from the books.

    Season One: introduction to the characters and the love story of Bill & Sookie....The Best Season!
    Season Two: going to Dallas, more insight into the characters, Rev. Newlin!...Second Best in Show.
    Season Three: Russell Edgington! Queen Sophie Ann. Lorena's demise...Places Third.
    Season Four: Bill as King of LA! Nan Flanagan. Marnie was great, Sookie-annoying..,..Fourth Place.
    Season Five: started out great, then got too preachy. Bill's transformation...what?....Fifth in line.

    I agree with most of this, except I actually thought 4 was worse than 5. Yeah, Alan Ball has destroyed the show, and I don't think anybody else is going to be able to fix it. I'll catch a little bit of next season, but I know it will never be good again.

    I think I was fed up by how terrible Season 4 was and 5 did not improve.... so it seemed worse than it was to me. Plus I never saw it in its entirety so I cannot judge it honestly I guess...


    Either way.... Season 4 was terrible and 5 was terrible as far as I watched! XD


    I agree, Ball ruined what I found so fun and endearing about the books, the central mystery plots with Sookie.

    Believe it or not, the last three episodes, particulary the two before the finale, were actually pretty good. These episodes didn't redeem the season, but they were much better than the episodes before them. Tara ended up being a cool vampire, and Lafayette was actually funny again. It's because of those episodes that I'm actually sticking around a bit, even if there were a few insanely ridiculous moments in them.

    Season 2- I loved Godric and Eric
    Season 3- because of Eric and Russell
    Season 1- it introduced me to Eric and Pam
    Season 4- Eric and Sookie relationship (mostly beginning of season)
    Season 5- sucked, everyone was stupid except for Pam and Tara

    Season 2 For sure as best the second is season 1, Worst season 4 then 5 hated that last two oh and if 3 had Jasons panthers then I hated that one too.

    Loved seasons 1 and 3. Hated season 4, because as good as the Eric storyline was, Marnie really didn't do it for me. There were parts of season 5 I liked and parts I disliked.

    Season 2 - Because the story was focused on the main characters. We started to see the sparks between Sookie & Eric, Jess & Hoyt! And we met Godric.
    Season 3 - Just because of Russell, but in this is the season when everything started to go to hell, to many side B stories and characters than no body liked.
    Season 1- Everything was new, fresh, few characters, and Sookie & Bill relation ship actually made sense.
    Season 4 - Just the first 6 episodes, amnesiac Eric was fun, then everything else sucked.
    Season 5 - God No!
