    I don't even count Cora as a good character, even though her send off was probably one of the better episodes.
    And Hook is a better character now that he's become more vicious, I just wish he would've been like this all the time and not a damn love interest for Emma.

    Rumple because he's my favorite. I can't see Hook as a villain, I think he is the most redeemable of them and has a good heart somewhere inside of him. As for Cora and Regina, I find both too annoying right now.

    Regina is a rather tragic villain. Rumpel is the schemer, and I suppose Cora was just plain evil (I miss her, I do) Hook, well, a villain that literally gets clocked by everyone out there isn't much of a villain in my book.

    Rumple is the one who pulls the strings everywhere, has also manipulated Regina herself ...... how do you say Regina is better? o.o Here there is no mention of characters in itself, but of villain

    Hard decision. I love Regina and think she's probably the best character on the show but she's kind of a terrible villain. She's manipulated by every other villain into doing what they want.

    Cora had some potential but they massively under utilized her. Whereas Rumple 'made' all of those villains and is without a doubt the most evil character on the show.

    Hook is not a villain. Hook is a joke. He is a disgrace, an embarrassment to the villain reputation.

    Rumple created the other three,one way or another,so he gets my vote.

    Regina and (especially) Hook are hard to see as villains from time to time.Not the most virtuous of characters,sure,but sometimes it's hard to blame them for wanting what they want.I think some of their actions are villainous,not the characters themselves.

    Rather hard to choose since ONCE has some of THE best and most interesting villains in last decade.


    Cora was downright evil and someone you LOVE to hate. Regina was anger personified. While Rumple was an awesome manipulative bastard.


    So I guess my vote goes for Rumple.

    Snow has the potential at being the best villain in entire show, considering, what, ~1 minutes of her evil managed to top everything we have seen from Rumple , Regina and Cora :P

    Agreed. But technically, complexities and issues aside, these people are canonically treated as villains and the poll listed characters that fall into that category. (Well, some, cause there are some more people I could have listed). So you can look at this as voting for who is best at being a villain, or which character is your fav that happens to be a villain?

    I love Regina and Mr. Gold but half the time I want to root for them and personally, I'm not sure I want to root for a villain to succeed :P So I voted for Cora. She had major potential. Kinda upset that they killed her off so soon.

    hmm I'm confused I like Rumple as most complicated and interesting caraxcher on the show but I can't qualify him as a villain. regina on the other hand is almost bitch as her mother, selfish and cruel. but does it make her a a better villain? she's not very good at that tbh

    When it comes to just being a scary villain Cora is the best Villain she's pure evil...well was anyway. But Regina is my favorite character out of all of them so it depends on what you mean by villain.

    My favorite character is absolutely 100% Rumpelstiltskin. But I think he's too complicated to call him a straight up villain. The fact that he created EVERYTHING just to be reunited with his son strangely fascinating, sad and awful all at the same time. He's done some awful things but I have a hard time calling him a villain, especially as he's even guarded Snow White's life against Regina. My vote goes to Cora. She's pretty much straight up evil. And anyone who would rip their OWN heart out to make sure love doesn't interfere with their lust for power is pretty much irredeemable.

    I would say both Rumple and Cora are better villains(not characters) than Regina. She's manipulated way too easily.


    A good villain has a mind of their own and doesn't flip flop based on their emotions at the moment or someone telling them what to do.
