    yes it's been too long since we've seen elijah unfortunly we will probaly only see him in 2 episodes :( but if the spinoff gets picked up we get to see him on our tv screens every week

    That's true but have they not considered what's best for Elena. Her inability to cope with the death of her entire family will return once she's human again and who knows if she'll be to fully live her life. Granted, this is not the best version of her but I think right now it's for the best. I think it's selfish of both Salvatore's to want her to be human again so that they she'll be in love with both of them again? Just my interpretation.
