Shameless Where There’s a Will Review. Shameless: Season 3, Episode 8: Where There’s a Will introduced a major problem facing the Gallaghers then showcased the resourcefulness of some of its individual members. Where There’s a Will also saw the end of minor situations that had persisted all season and the igniting of others.
Mandy Milkovich (Emma Greenwell) is the girl in the middle who likes a guy, Lip Gallagher (Jeremy Allen White), who is half in and half out of a relationship with her.
The Mandy Shank-a-vich joke was harsh, especially with her willing pitching to help around the Gallagher house even when not asked. The half-ass apology immediately afterward was better than the joke. The hypocrisy during the exchange was amazing: Veronica Fisher (Shanola Hampton) does online porn in her house for pay. How does she look down on a high school student that has sex with guys she likes?
The Mandy and Lip confrontation was one of the best relationship moments in the episode. The one between Kevin Ball (Steve Howey) and his cell phone was a harbinger, a situation that was obvious and inevitable.
To the: “if you don’t want me here question”, Mandy never thought that Lip would actually answer: “yes, I don’t want you here”. It was a harsh scene but a great scene.
