1. The Blackout, revealed: "We reveal why the power went out and we do it early," executive producer Eric Kripke said, noting that it will open the door to a bigger mystery. "It will be fun to see the audience's reaction to it." Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) actually knows the real reason, so, "there's no reason she wouldn't say it."
2. The world expands: As Monroe's power grows, so too will the world of Revolution as the group may need to rely on other territories in the fight against Monroe. "This revolution against Monroe really begins," Kripke says. "[They] all join together to take on this evil tyrant." But executive producer Jon Favreau noted that loyalties with these other federations may change as power shifts hands. Among the new faces is Leslie Hope's President Foster, the leader of the Georgia Federation. "She's badass," Kripke said. "She's really steely and strong and has her own management style that is quite different than Monroe's."
3. Charlie's not a kid anymore: Even though Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) has been reunited with her mother Rachel and brother Danny (Graham Rogers), she will continue to fight for the rebellion, which will put her at odds with herself. "Is she able to keep her humanity through it all?" Spiridakos said. She may find help in that department in Jason (J.D. Pardo), who Spiridakos noted will be around the rebels more in the second half of the season.
4. Miles may fall off the wagon: Miles will have to step up as a leader in the rebellion against the Monroe republic, but his past demons may hinder him. "Were the show to take place five years earlier, Miles would be the bad guy," Kripke said. "He's a former bad guy trying to be good. He can be a real son of a bitch in backstory, and he really flirts with some of that again."
5. Monroe goes off the hinges: With Miles deserting him once again, Monroe will set his sights on quashing the rebellion and making Miles pay for it in the process by putting out a kill order on his head. With no one to trust, Monroe may make some questionable decisions. "There's a void in him that cannot be filled with all the power in the world," Lyons says. "He's broken and the question is, can he be mended? I'm not sure."

Love this show. Can't wait for season 2. I really want to see Charlie go a little more badass.
ReplyDeletelooking forward to the show's return!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait! Hopefully this show will last longer than past NBC shows.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait, this show has been off the air for far to long! With such an intricate backstory and mystery, with a little more character development this show could be incredible and deffo a big cult show! Dare I say it, right up there with LOST and Buffy.
ReplyDeleteGreat teasers, I can't wait for March 25! And I like the hints of a Miles/Rachel romance. They have more chemistry than he has with Nora, not to mention it would be a more interesting love story.
ReplyDeleteHere we go, the cliché relationship: Miles and Rachel *rolleyes*. Too bad, I really wanted to see more of Miles and Nora (and their backstory)...
ReplyDeletelooking forward for season 2!!! please NBC don't disappoint the fans
ReplyDeleteGetting excited! No doubt that Miles and Rachel might have some history. (Is Charlie really Ben's kid?) -The spoilers and teasers make it all sound pretty grand. Here's to hoping it's good and paves the path to second season!
ReplyDeleteIf I had to guess, I'd say that Myles and Rachel grew close during those years she was their captive. Did we ever learn why Myles turned against Monroe? I'm thinking that Monroe "killed" Rachel, Myles heard about it and turned on his friend out of anger.
ReplyDeleteHe looked really shocked, and not a little happy, when he learned she was alive.
I think there could have been something going on before, because I think she clearly wasn't happy about Ben just contracting their company to the Department of Defense...Plus one has to wonder why she would be willing to make some kind of a deal with Miles and leave her family, which happens before (thanks to the webisodes for filling us in) Miles turns on Monroe and flees...
ReplyDeleteThis is gonna be great. Expand the world of Revolution is my favorite part of this return.
ReplyDeleteThe first 10 episodes were really uneven, and try as I might, I just couldn't love the show. It sounds like they just came at it with a solid plan to set up the long story and see what would work and what wouldn't in the first half season. Judging by this list, they knew pacing was an issue. I'm starting to have hope for this show again.
ReplyDeleteMiles is easily the most interesting character on this show.
ReplyDeleteFriendly reminder: this is not season 2, it's the second half of season 1. Blame NBC for the confusion.
