    Can anyone please explain to a foreigner the meaning of the title? I mean why "black" and why "black" goes after "orphan".

    I haven't seen the premier yet to see what it specifically relates to, but just taking a stab at it, Orphan means to not have have parents, or have no one to raise you. Then black is another word for something "dark" an/or "Mysterious", as being in the dark is synonymous for "the unknown".


    So given this is about clones (people who are created and do not have parents in the traditional sense) -there is where we get the word "orphan", and because this truth is being revealed to the clone(s) who do not know that they are, it's an unknown and plays on the fear of their own identity, purpose, and origins, "Black" something dark, something to fear, something we can't just see through.

    I am planning on seeing it. I just forgot it was on! I have to see if there is a BBC on Demand (and if I have it) or if it's going to re-air. It's something I think I would like :)
