Awesome return! Loved Birkhoff teaming with Alex and going into the field and hope that we see more of that combo. Loved the twist that as much as they want to clean things up, that circumstances have made them emulate the old Division more than they were expecting to. I'm bummed that Niki and Alex are still at odds somewhat and that split and the new info that they are still in the government's crosshairs is what might lead to the revolt in Division that' been mentioned...
Birkhoff and Alex scenes were great this episode. It was a nice duo see working together. I actually liked the way Niki and Alex fought, they both made valid points. Niki should know that Alex isn't always going to agree with her and is starting to morph into her own person, and Nikita shouldn't feel she needs to carry all the burden and lie to everyone else, while treating Alex like she's some sort of lap dog. Did Amanda really do something to Alex? Or was the shot of the chair just an interpretation of some sort. I could be thinking too much into it. I'm happy Sean noticed something was up with Alex and made a point of it. If he didn't then I would have thought he and Alex have gotten nowhere in their relationship. Haha and poor Sean being stuck with the French ambulance guy…all I got from that scene was Hubert, garlic, and cat videos. Great episode and I cant start to see where the mutiny would begin to blossom.
I really liked it. Birkhoff and Alex make a great team. I loved that everyone kept pointing out that Alex was acting like Nikita. Kudos to Michael for having that talk with Nikita before she made the situation worse. I'm still loving that the character conflicts are born from who these characters are. Yes, Amanda put a burr under Alex's saddle but the root of the issues between her and Nikita is in the fact that Amanda has grown up and willing to express an opinion that differs from Nikitas and she's willing to fight for it. Awesome ep.
Poor Sean lol, Alex and Birkhoff were great this week also the blackmail scene with Division vs Danforth, I loved it - it was so Percy-like but in a boyscout way.
I was very meh until the middle of it but it really heated up, it was awesome at the end. I love Alex so much right now. She really is what Nikita used to be now! Go Alex!
Sean is awesome, I like that they are giving him more humorous lines these days. I've read an interview with the actor in which he commented on that, glad he is getting his way ;)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Birkhoff in the field! Sean's expression about the French guy, lol. The team learning the truth. Great ep.

ReplyDeleteAmanda injected Alex in the neck. Her behavior is a result of that. Birkhoff and Alex are a great team.
ReplyDeleteWe need Season 4!!
"Amanda injected Alex in the neck." wait, what? what made you think this? though certainly she did something to her... and Birkhoff/Alex were great!
