  1. I loved it! Ugh at McGee's father. It's sad that he's dying but I wish that McGee had stood up to him more. And aww at the team helping him deal, especially Tony.

    Loved Jealous!Tony, too.

    This was a great episode.

  2. An outstanding episode! I felt so bad for McGee but at least in the end they went for a walk and started talking. To bad it took all these years, and i'm sorry his farther is dying hopefully they will each get a chance to say what needs to be said...

Glad McGee decide to continue being a big brother, and i love that the team had his back!

  5. Loved this episode! I felt bad for McGee and was silently cheering for Vance and Gibbs when they told the Admiral off, so to speak. Glad to see that father and son are (hopefully) working on their relationship.

  6. I also wish that McGee had stood up to the Admiral but sometimes, when the person isn't always supportive of you or when he/she doesn't care to hear what others have to say, standing up for oneself is usually discouraged non-verbally.

  7. Interesting fact:

Mark Harmon was cast as Gibbs, in large part after the producers had seen him playing Secret Service Agent Simon Donovan on The West Wing for a number of episodes. That character, was a part-time "Big Brother" to a troubled young kid. Agent Donovan was eventually shot and killed in the line of duty, in one of the best episodes of the "Sorkin years" of The West Wing.

  8. I lol:ed at the scene where Tony gets to sit in the "big chair" in the Director's office. One of the funnier moments of the episode, I thought.

  9. I think it is high time the writers get back to NCIS and turn off the soap opera stories. I know alot of people like all the back stories of the personal lives of the agents. I for one do not. Once in awhile it is necessary but it seems that the show lately is too much with the personal lives. I really love the show I love when when Tony gets a visit from his dad.....etc etc.....but honestly I miss the case of the week and the banter in the office.......I was out to dinner last week with my family and two older men were in a booth next to us..........they were discussing TV shows and believe it or not they were complaining of the same thing....I just shook my head in silent agreement with them.... Back to business guys....no more soapy stuff.....only when ABSOLUTELY necessary.
