  1. Interesting new team. I can't wait for part two. It's only been one episode and I already ship Callen and Paris lol.

    Someone please help that cat.

  2. Even though we've only seen part one, I'm in for Red! It seems interesting. And I don't even watch LA (don't like it very much, although it's definitely improved from when I gave up on it), but I kinda ship Callen/Paris a little. Oops.

Hoping for an all NCIS Tuesday, tbh.

  3. I hope Deeks opens that box I want to know what's inside it so badly. Kensi's a sneaky one!

  4. Seems like NCIS: Red could be a good spin-off of the spin-off. Though they failed to establish that the Red team think Gibbs (best character/actor in all three shows IMO) walks on water - that's a NCIS requirement isn't it?

  5. I really loved this episode. I thought they balanced humour and drama very well. This usually happens on NCIS LA, but nice to see it extend to having the Red team on board.
Kim Raver is as awesome as always. I liked the other characters, although I don't remember who they are. I could probably say the actors, not the characters. I also liked the (late) addition of John Corbett as Roy. He obviously has a bad past with Paris, and although they showed a little bit, I don't really understand what happened. I'd like to see them show us what happened in P2. It would annoy me if it extended past that.
As much as I dislike Granger, I did enjoy him in this episode. Although, he will probably be as annoying as usual next week. *sigh*
I think Hetty expects Callen and Paris to hook up, as do I. However, I don't particularly want them to. If Red team are travelling around the country, it would make a relationship hard. Also, they are both singluar people (as in they like loneliness), so they might work. Meh. Can we ship them?
Really looking forward to next week. Bring. It. On.

  6. Catching up on the beginning of the two parter. Really liked the ep...except for the fact that the guy making dinner put the community spoon in his mouth. I hope he didn't put it back in the pot. Other than that...do like the new team and nice to see the actor (spoon guy :-) getting more than a one of guest spot.

  7. I just saw this episode and the continuation of the Box mystery at the end of Red part I. I know the box is supposed to be a symbol of Kensi and Deeks' relationship, but that is a real box they have in there: big and not so heavy. It's just genius...

The idea got into me that I would think Kensi ordered 5 plush toys in the shape of little mutant ninja assassins, depicted as kids of different ages. She saw perhaps that kind of thing on a website and couldn't resist the urge to order the five customized things, with the idea of preparing some future prank for Deeks. Then later, she decided she would give the box to him as a late gift for his birthday. It would be exactly the thing he most wanted, as per his own words in repeated occasions!

I love that he decided not to open the box, like being a bit scared of the possible disappointment. The show might never come back to it, but in my imagination, I would love that when he finally would open it he would find the five plush ninja kids and understand that she was willing to fulfill that dream of his... having his children.
