Juliette has some 3D hallucinations. Someone give Sgt. Wu a promotion. He solved the case of the week. The secondary story about the Royals sure looks interesting.
Great episode that showed love to all the characters with equal screen time and still managed to squeeze in the wesen of the week. Great to see some progress on the Renard royal storyline and next week looks like we are going to get even more!
Love the Rumpelstiltskin twist. That was great. I hope all the whiners worrying about this not living up to Robert Carlyle standards see how it was nothing alike. By nothing, I mean, NOTHING! Fun filler episode again for building the story but I want another couple eps of intensity again please.
I kept thinking that for that many letters 271 seemed like a really small number of permutations starting with a T. For about 35 seconds I considered digging through my memory for the math to check it out.
Then I came to my senses and decided to get another glass of wine.
I really liked the straight up cop case. Liked that the Wesen's avatar looked like he really did. :-) I want Wu's soduku board. Yay Juliette for putting your foot down. Didn't find it too surprising that another woman would be on the...answer the woman's questions bandwagon. I really liked that little non-verbal moment between Nick and Hank when they were deciding who would tell who where they got the names from. I had to go back and re-watch the two scenes before Hank and Nick went to the trailer (which is still parked in the same place...sigh... :-) to search the journals. I kept thinking I missed the scene where they decided it must be a Wesen. They went to the trouble of mentioning that they hoped this bad guy would be a normal human that I was sure I'd missed something.
Was it really necessary for Trinket to put on his headset to look up an address? LOL He brought new meaning to the phrase...sore loser. :-)
Awesome episode! I really enjoyed it and it was a nice balance with every character tonight!! More episodes like this would be great!
I may be the only one, but I'm so over Juliette. I was semi-okay with her in season 1, but this whole mess happened with the captain and now I just see her as whiney and annoying. I get she's trying to get her memory back and what not, but I cannot stand her character anymore. Honestly when you look at it, the show does not really need her. It would be nice if they brought someone else in for Nick as a love interest, maybe even have it be a Wesen, which would really make things interest. Juliette just has to go!!
Ugh, Juilette story needs to end. She "wants" to know but any time something the least bit supernatural comes up she's all fingers in her ears, I'm not listening. They're going to tell her about the cat scratch and she all "blah blah blah." She's never been interesting, she still isn't. Stop this. Just kill her.
Awesome! And that was a surprise to me, because I had been presuming I wouldn't like it and also that it would have nothing to do with fairy tales. I was wrong on both counts. I loved Juliette this episode, from the very beginning, when she opened her door and beckoned the spirits, to her bonding with Monroe and Rosalee. I like how she's insisting on finding out what's going on on her own terms instead of trusting in Nick to fill her in. She's well on her way to rightful membership in the Scooby Gang.
The game story was very interesting. I liked how the Wessen signaled his intentions by splitting a game character in half, and no one was the wiser. Also good was the idea of "game" tying in to what's going on with the royals. Also, yay Renard for foiling the bomber.
And typical Wu, hanging from a ladder asking calmly if he could a hand here.
Another great episode................I actually liked Juliette or the first time.............her beckoning the spirit when she entered the house was funny. Poor Monroe so loyal to Nick and torn between J and N.....my take is this ...Nick if you love this woman and you miss her,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,than head to the house with Rosalee and Monroe and have an intervention. Nothing is more annoying than a light bulb that keeps flickering and that is what Juliette is going through. Nick my man either your going to enlighten your lady or let her go... enough of all the soapy crap. Hey why not tell her the truth and let her decide....I am in or I am out of here. Renaud .....that was an incredible action scene the way you got rid of that bomb and walked out of the restaurant.....you would make an incredible James Bond....very very sharp. Nice work. Wu.....proving to be a great edition to the team.............I am not sure he needs to know everything yet...but soon.I loved Monroe sitting on the stairs when Nick go home.....I love Monroe...he is adorable.Thank you NBC for a great show! Grimm and Touch................Fridays nights are great!

ReplyDeleteThe episodes just keep getting better and better. Akela Cooper did a wonderful job writing this episode.

ReplyDeleteAnyone else wondering if/when Wu will get filled in?
ReplyDeleteI have long thought Sgt. Wu is banking experience to help him out when he starts studying for the detectives exam.
