This show leaves me breathless week after week. It's really "can't look away television".
The scene with everyone standing around Joe watching him get his taste for killing back again was so unbelievably perfect. The music, the acting, the writing... it all. Top notch stuff.
As was The Following's version of Fight Club. Really, really well done.
Kevin Bacon and James Purefoy continue to play Hardy and Carroll like prize fighters. It's really like watching an expertly done boxing match. Knocking lines and scenes out of the park left and right. Kevin Bacon has such perfect timing with his witty remarks and sly sayings.
Music... Music... Music. My god, the music in the last 5mins of every episode of this entire show has been spot on perfect.
I now know how Carroll's followers feel because this show is definitely an addiction!
wow, just an incredibly twisted yet intense ep! Fantastic in it's pacing and loved the ever growing chess match between Carroll and his minions (possible hints of dissention coming from Roderick?) and Hardy and the now buffoons running the show for the FBI... Glad that Ashmore's character will make it, and kinda sad that Charlie died as he at least seemed to have a code of honor albeit warped. I thought it interesting that the made Joe's killing of Charlie sad, and strangely erotic to some degree.... Just a great ep all the way around. I certainly hope that the FBI have checked on everyone who's visited Joe in prison for a list of all the possible cultists.
Charlie's death was really disturbing, amazingly done even if it was kind of sad to see him go. I'm looving the hot couples in the cult (definitley shipping Joe and Emma), some chemistry over there.
Somebody help..................you mean to tell me that Ryan or Debra did not disable the car slash the tires something??? Debra should have been closer to the getaway car not standing in the middle of the lot?? Oh my.....not very bright. Ryan on the other hand is the sharpest knife (pardon the pun) in the drawer. That new FBI guy has to go...........this superior crap is a waste of time........the time for pissing matches is way over..........no more rules, protocol, procedure. The FBI meaning Ryan needs to go rogue and just go hunting for King crazy and his kingdom of loons.I love this show but like I said we need some balance. It was good to see Joe lose last night (not get Claire) and 5 minions dead......let's keep that up..after all he should not win every move. Little miss Emma better enjoy the momentary bed room bliss with Joe because once Joe does get Claire back she will be nothing more than a pixie minion. The way I see it after last night is that there are so many minions at this point each clamoring for attention and purpose in their life (yeah I know but thats what Charlie said) I think that Castle Crazy is going to implode over time.....you can't keep this many highly unstable individuals together for long before problems begin. Roderick felt it last night,,,,,,(It's different with Joe here) yeah that's right..............and soon there will be dissension among the ranks.............its just a matter of time.
So, second season shouldn't eb about joe. I guess that the cult is not, really, around Joe's but around Joe's style of life and Poe's poetry. I think that Roderick doesn't feel like Joe is that good anymore, he definitely wants the leader post "back". Once they are lost, without Joe, they will be much more dangerous. Cause their intent will be just death and not make Joe happy.
Me either but then again she did say she'll cover the back which is where they got away lol It makes me wonder did she on purposely said that and why the hell she didn't rush back in to check on Ryan???
I don't think the cult would manage very well without joe, like it or not the followers follow, people usually base their beliefs on people or characters, not exactly a lifestyle
i was really affraid about mike dying. i really like him and his relationship with ryan, i did not want him dead! Charlie dying was very messed up! Hated the new fbi guy, though it is realistic that someone new would be put in charge
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Holy shit i cannot believe this show! It's insane but i cannot look away,oh i'll be back later,i have think about this for awhile....

They sure grow some stupid FBI on this show but still is more twisted than anything on TV.

ReplyDeleteI haven't watched this yet but have a question: is Nico Tortorella (Jacob) in this episode?

ReplyDeleteThank you. For whatever reason my comment came out anonymous...
ReplyDeleteThis was the most disturbing ep yet, the acting was awesome by everyone. Had to go back and see if Kevin wrote it, but no, he did not.
ReplyDeleteHa, I had dealings with the FBI when I worked for a bank that was robbed and believe me, they are very stupid.
ReplyDeleteI'm still not sure Debra is not part of the cult.
ReplyDeleteThey also can't shoot accurately to save their, or anyone else's, life.

ReplyDeleteIt was nice to see Warren Cole sign on to the following after Common Law got cancelled which im still pissed at USA Network!!!

ReplyDeleteThank god Weston didn't die! When they went after him i really thought about droping the show if they killed him
ReplyDeleteI know, she had to have heard the shooting going on and nothing from her, my money is she is part of the gang.
ReplyDeleteWhen Weston was sitting in the middle of the circle i was like saying hope he doesn't say what took you guys so long lol

ReplyDeleteThe scene with Joe killing Charlie was breathtakingly beautiful moving moment.
