  1. Good introduction of Dylan as Norma's son from a previous marriage. He managed to stay alive only because Norma and Norman hasn't ganged up on him.
I like the way Mike Vogel's Deputy Shelby invited Norma to the Chuck. Cute scene.
The taxidermy was revealed much like the original Psycho. That was a nice touch.
Just realized the only thing not updated about this story, is that house and every thing that came with it.
Nice connection between what the deputy said about how people make a living now, and what Norman and Emma finds in the mountains. (It looks suspiciously like Canadian landscape.)

  2. Another really good episode! I enjoyed the introduction to the other brother, Dylan. From the looks of it, he also has a weird connection/crush on his mother and is extremely jealous of Norman. Dylan has lots of information on his mom that he can use to his advantage so she better hope he doesn't find out about her killing that man or Norma will be in real trouble.

This town is maybe a little too creepy, imo. It was sort of hard to believe that these townspeople carry out the type of killings that we saw like hanging that burning guy for everyone to see on main street. I understand that this adds to the mystery of the whole community but it did seem pretty far fetched for even a television show.

I like the Emma character and hope she is a good influence somehow on Freddie. Norma may believe that she is harmless now, but I fear for the girl's life if Norma decides she is a threat. I was worried that Emma was going to die as they ran out of the forest as tptb showed us how fragile she really is.

They do film up in the Vancouver, B.C. area. It is a popular place to film for television series!

  3. Good. Really enjoyed this episode. I think the show has staying power.

This Dylan guy is a total douche to Norma, but I think he has his reasons.
Can't wait to find out what's in the shed.
Norma is absolutely gorgeous. I think I'd fancy her, too, even if she were my mum, haha.
