I'm glad we're a more traditional episode. Part of the reason I liked POI season 1 were that there were so many different types of regular cases with a twist. Don't get me wrong, I love episodes like Firewall, Relevance, Prisoner's Dilemma but I need a portion of regular episodes to take in all the awesomeness.
No, POI is a different procedural, so don't expect the show stuck in the format of the case of the week, episodes like Prisoner's Dilemma, Relevance, Firewall will be more constant for now own.
I agree that POI is not a regular procedural but I'm saying that if we get too many 'special' episodes like Relevance and Prisoner's Dillemma, the value of those episodes wont remain that 'special'.
We need this episodes to close arcs or expand the mithology (Relevance), POI will mix things, simple episodes and complex others. The show have three or four huge plots to delevopment your narrative and even more to coming, episodes like "Flesh & Blood" and "Prisoner's Dilemma" close the plot of Elias and Kara, now the show have more normal episodes to built more backstory to make more villains and bring huge episodes full of action and tension later.
I understand your concern, but think with me, the last five episodes of season one and the first half of the season 2 built storys to explode in this second half of season 2, POI need the normal episode, yes, but just to make a bridge for the huge ones later.
Plus: POI is like a comic book style, many villains, many characters, many plots, many twist and cliffhanger.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
