I really, really miss strong season 1 Emma. Charming's the big macho man on the show, I got it writers. But does Emma always have to hover in the background and let him call the shots when they're sharing a scene like that? Back in season 1 Emma would have been the one to give Gold a piece of mind. And guess what? She can do that and be a good and protective mother. But OUAT apparently prefers the very traditional male-female roles when it comes down to it.

  3. At least the Charmings didn't just welcome Rumple with open arms.

  4. I think this is more MM who is depressed and PC protecting her.... Emma will rise and shine at other times.

  5. We are talking about trying to save the life of Charming's wife here. I have zero problem with him taking charge in this situation.

  6. Charming this case has every right to talk that way with Rumpel. Snow is his wife, Charming's true love, he loves Snow too much and is very angry

  7. charming: you always pay you debt, don't you?

Rumple: A Lannister always pay his... opps, wrong set.

  8. Good Job Charming. Point-arooni for you! He's on his game.

  9. Point with the ones before me with Charming. But also he is her father and its just a little different dynamic now than it was in season 1. Though she may not have expressed it so much outloud, I think that Emma has excepted her role in the family and people are falling into places- hence would you talk over your father like that about your mom especially if your parents are charming/snow? I think it was just the new flow of the dynamics and situation based.

  10. yes I think the Charmings need to understand that Regina is family too and if they are going to keep using that excuse for Rumple they should figure out how it works for Regina too.

Regina is a sociopath. She is evil. Pure simple. At one time she was good but then she choose to murder her father to complete her revenge. She is a twisted person and HENRY should be kept away from her. No the Charmings should keep her away.

  12. So many Rumple/Tyrion parallels. It kills me.

  13. Random: I think I get it now, why they cut Lana's hair. They needed to make her look like S1 Mayor Mills again. Hope they let it grow again though.

Hopefully sneak peek 3 this puts the whole ridiculous "baww they are favoring Rumple over Cora because of blood-relation" argument to rest.

  15. But they are. Same for Regina. Thus sneak peek proves it.

  16. That sneak just made me realize how fucking much I miss season one and that I could probably watch a season of flashbacks to cursed Storybrooke.

  17. Plus if things like this bird scene kept happening before Emma came to town it's no wonder Henry believed in the curse.

  18. That makes no sense. That scene was in the pilot, they just changed it to Regina coming in instead of Regina and Emma. I thought this was supposed to be week one of the curse?

Sneak peek shows that Charming does not see Gold as family and is in 100% business mode with him. No one is ignoring that this is all Gold's fault.

  20. So I guess "wah wah 28 years!" is only really something Regina, Jefferson, Henry, Emma and Pinocchio can use as a reason if everyone else had literally no concept of time.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Does Regina visit every single day or something?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Except for the line "You're family"

    ReplyDelete
  23. The writers said that each day isn't repeated, it's just that
everything is similar and they really have no sense of time. It will all, supposedly, be explained in the episode.

    ReplyDelete
  24. John Doe like the John Doe from PLL?

    ReplyDelete
  25. If each day isn't repeated should they really have used the EXACT same scene then?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Maybe when she stop trying to kill them, they will.

    ReplyDelete
  27. It is? The purpose of the curse was that there was NO time - it always REPEATED. That's why the bird scene was so similar to that one of the pilot. It's kind of like in that Bill Murray movie... Just that it's not always the same day - but still, they are not aging (except Henry of course). It's like with "The Simpsons", you know?

  28. I feel so sad for Regina every time I watch Once Upon A Time. STOP TORTURING HER!
